Lot also includes small collection of vintage bus magazines. The models all appear Mint, the boxes have a little storage wear.
A rare antique 18th Century Georgian burl / burr yew and solid yew wood 8 Day longcase grandfather clock by Hugh Willis of Suckley in Bucks. Stepped top hood with glazed door over burr yew wood trunk case door with solid yew wood interior. The gilded brass dial of square form having ornate corner spandrels depicting cherubs holding crowns, Roman numeral chapter ring, subsidiary date aperture and faceted hands. Complete with weights and pendulum. Some age related wear to the case. Measures approx 232cm x 44cm x 22cm. Face 12" dial 11".
An antique early 19th Century Georgian oak and mahogany longcase clock grandfather clock. Brass set arched pediment top with turned brass finials. Glazed door to the hood flanked by reeded columns. Inset shell motif to the trunk door with further inlaid decoration. White enamel face with Roman numeral chapter ring decorated with pink floral sprays and cockerel. An impressive example. Measures: 228cm tall, dial 11 inches.
A 17th Century Spanish antique colonial leather ships trunk chest of slight domed form having leather clad bodie with studded nailhead decoration depicting clubs with original large lock to front and studded scrollwork. The hinged lid opening to reveal a later lined scarlet red interior with latticework. A good period example. Measures: 48cm x 112cm x 49cm.
A rare 18th Century Georgian Scottish 8 day oak & mahogany cased longcase grandfather clock by William Small of Peterhead having an swan neck pediment top with brass details and glazed door flanked by reeded columns. The trunk having reeded columns and detailed door over stepped lower section. The brass face having gilt spandrels, silvered Roman Numeral chapter ring, day aperture and subsidiary dial. Measures approx; 214cm x 47cm. Dial 11" face 12".
An antique vintage early 20th Century 1909 large travel steamer trunk / travellers suitcase chest of deep rectangular form of good quality like a Louis Vuitton example. The trunk having faded brown leather panels with brass stud detailing throughout and white leather banding and metal locks and latches. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious linen lined interior. Marked 1909. Measures approx; 61cm x 108cm x 54cm.

The gilt brass face having gilt Roman Numeral chapter ring, The Neptune figurine (later), faceted hands, winding holes and day aperture. Face measures; 12" dial 11.5". Measures 213cm tall.

Turned finial arched pediment top with glazed door, brass reeded columns and door to trunk with inlaid shell boxwood motif. The painted dial having depiction of fisherman to the arch and buildings to corners and a bold black arabic numeral dial, subsidiary seconds dial, aperture and gilt faceted hands. Complete with both weights and pendulum. Measures; 213cm tall dial 12 inches.

A Cloisonné-enamel moriage baluster vaseBy the workshop of Ando Jubei of Nagoya, Meiji (1868-1912) or Taisho (1912-1926), early 20th centuryFinely worked in silver wire and brightly coloured enamels with a bird perched on fruiting persimmon branches trailing from the front of the neck, over the shoulder and draping across the body, the ripe fruits in orange and the leaves in graduated tones of grey and green, the outline of the trunk worked in yusen, all reserved on a pale blue ground, applied with a silver rim and foot, signed on the copper base in silver wire with the Ando seal and with a presentation inscription Showa yonen Raito Misshon kinen (in commemoration of the Wright or Light Mission, Showa 4 [1929]); with a wood tomobako storage box inscribed outside the lid Kaki shokin shippo kabin (Cloisonné-enamel vase with persimmons and a small bird); signed inside the lid Jubei tsukuru with a seal Andoshi kinsei (Respectfully, made by Ando). 25cm (9 13/16in) high.
