A Victorian silver epergne on a mirrored plateau, by Horace Woodward & Co., Birmingham 1878, the tapering central column with engraved decoration and with three mythical birds on claw and ball feet, with lion mask drop-ring handles, supporting a central cut glass bowl, with three foliate scroll arms each supporting a smaller cut glass bowl, on a raised shaped triangular base on four foliate bracket feet, the mirror plateau of circular form, engraved decoration, beaded borders, on four shell bracket feet, with two baize lined trays for the branches and glass and a later modern trunk, and with a spare matched bowl, height of epergne 59.2cm, diameter of plateau 37cm, total height on plateau with glass bowl 72cm, approx. weighable 126oz. Inlaid mahogany longcase clock, the hood with architectural pediment, turned Corinthian columns, trunk with long door and ogee bracket feet, twelve inch arched painted with with hunting scene to the lunette and floral spandrels, signed Shepperley & Pearce, Nottingha, eight day movement striking on a bell, height 219cm, with pendulum and weights.Condition report:Thr hood has a short crack to the rightside, and a split to the bottom right rim of the hood. The main body of the clock is a little rubbed and scrached on the edges. The front door is warped and does not sit flat when closed. The base has a long crack just above where the inlay design is. The sides are a bit scrached in places. The face enamel is crazed all over and has some small chips to the edges and corners. It is sold as untested. The finial to the top of the hood is missing. Comes with pendulim and weights.

An 18thC oak longcase clock, with floral and crescent moon carved hood, sunflower trunk door, and scratch carved base with plinth, the brass dial having subsidiary seconds, and signed Wainwright, Northampton, No 2391, 28cm square, thirty hour movement with pendulum, 190cm high.
Doucai-Schale "Elster und Prunus", China, wahrscheinlich Yongzheng-Periode (1723 - 1735) Runder Standring. Im Spiegel bunte Darstellung zweier Elstern an einem Blütenstamm (Prunus). Stark ansteigende Fahne mit blauem Rand. Die äußere Wandung ist ebenfalls mit polychromem Prunus-Dekor verziert. Unterseite mit unterglasurblauer Yongzheng-Sechs-Zeichen-Marke. Guter Zustand. Durchmesser 20 cm. A Chinese Doucai bowl "Magpie and Prunus" with Yongzheng six-character mark, probably from that period (1723 - 1735) Round stand. Center with polychrome painting showing two magpies on a prunus trunk. Blue border. Outer body with polychrome prunus decor. Bottom with blue underglaze Yongzheng six-character mark. Good condition. Diameter 20 cm.
