C18th/C19th Mahogany Long Case Clock on small bracket supports with box wood & ebony stringing, domed trunk door, domed hood with fluted pillars encasing brass dial, brass chapter ring with Roman numerals, painted metal pierced hands, dome mounted with scrolling fish & Tempus Fugit, musical Westminster chiming German replacement, 1930`s movement, striking on bars, with triple weights, full size pendulum
A good 18th century mahogany eight day long case clock, the brass dial signed J.N.O. Pitts, Tilbury, beneath an ornate, cherub, arch, the case with blind fret, canted corners beneath a fret pierced and flowerhead carved pediment, the whole on ogee bracket feet, maximum height 244cm. Condition Report: We do not operate the clocks to see if in working order and do not guarantee the workings. There are three holes drilled into the brass dial where the movement posts are connected therefore uncertain if the movement is original. The seating boards are built up. The edge of the trunk door has some damage together with the back legs missing.
A Victorian Royal Worcester blush ivory vase modelled as a Caparisond Elephant, painted in brown, turquoise and green shot enamels with gilded highlights, puce painted mark, impressed mark and registration lozenge, date mark for 1878, height 20cm. Condition Report: Slight wear to gilding on top. Both tusks have been restored as has the lower half of the trunk.
1901-19 [Lot of 4] Clason`s Guide Map of Arizona [and] Territory of Arizona [and] Arizona [and] Arizona. Sketch Map of Irrigated Areas and Main Topographic Features ""A. Clason`s Guide Map of Arizona, by Clason Map Company, dated 1919, printed color (15.0 x 17.6""""). This folding pocket map is complete with descriptive booklet, """"Clason`s Arizona Road Map and Railway Guide"""" (4 x 6.3""""). The map delineates early Automobile Roads and Main Automobile Roads via red overprinted lines. The legend also locates the state capital (Phoenix), counties lines, county seats, railroads, rail trunk lines, Indian reservations, and National Forests. Below the map is a list of towns with populations: Phoenix had just over 30,000 people, a number that stayed small until air conditioning came into commercial use. The map shows Greenlee County, created from part of Graham County in 1909. Folds into paper covers with 24-page booklet which includes full-page city plans of Tucson and Phoenix. Condition: A clean and bright example. (A) B. Territory of Arizona, by General Land Office, dated 1901, printed color (16.9 x 20.2""""). A colorful and fascinating map with great detail issued eleven years before statehood. The extent of nine Indian reservations and at least three Military reservations, including Camp Apache, are clearly shown in different colors. Numerous confirmed and unconfirmed land claims are named and located. A huge Grand Canyon Forest Reserve is shown. The brown hachured mountain area and the blue waterways combine to provide great visual impact. Information includes watershed, mountains, railroads, wagon roads, private claims, unsurveyed townships, etc. A beautiful example published while Harry King was the Chief of Drafting and the Hon. Binger Hermann was commissioner. Condition: Fine. (A+) C. Arizona, by U.S.G.S, circa 1902, black and white (18.4 x 21.7""""). This uncommon map accompanied the 1902 congressional report on preparations for Arizona statehood. It shows the areas that could and could not support population with the vast majority of land deemed """"open to entry, but not capable of supporting population."""" Condition: A clean sheet with one tiny split at a fold intersection and a slightly narrow left margin due to binding trim. (A) D. Arizona. 19th century eight day striking mahogany grandfather clock with brass scroll and three brass finials, dome shaped hood with two Doric column side supports and pair of Doric side pilasters to the trunk. The enamel dial with hand painted spandrels bears the name Jos. D. Taylor of Strichen. There is a Roman dial chapter ring and two secondary second and minute dials (Winder in office)
A 19th century miniature mahogany grandfather clock with square hood and broken scroll pediment. There is a hinged glass door to the silvered dial bearing a primitive Roman five minute interval chapter ring. The obelisk shaped trunk has a hinged door and is surmounted on a mahogany wall bracket. The clock movement bears the maker`s name Ansonia Clock Company. Patented May 3rd 1892. Length 43 cm
Victorian Wedgwood Majolica table centre with basket moulded and pierced bowl, three putti supports holding hands around a central tree trunk on naturalistic base - impressed marks, 41cm high CONDITION REPORT Basket repaired with staples in several places. One putti head re-glued. One has a foot cracked. A few areas of minor chipping and wear to high points on glaze, mainly to feet. Otherwise good order. Stamped - Wedgwood, T, AVQ
Eighteenth century longcase clock with eight day movement, twelve inch brass dial with engraved floral centre, subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, foliate spandrels and silvered chapter ring, in an oak case with shaped door with central shell paterae, hood with square door, plain turned columns and architectural pediment, 207.5cm overall height CONDITION REPORT Overall condition of movement is good. However, there is evidence of repair to rear plate where winding barrels locate and crutch is bent. Bell has been painted gold and may be a replacement. Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Four pillar movement. Chapter ring is missing some securing pins and brass back plate has a vacant hole near edge above XII and has a nibble at edge near IIII. Pendulum and weights are present. Case is in good condition, however there are two deep scuffs to trunk door and plinth front panel is split. Hood is good but with some damage to left hand side moulding. Side extension to backboard detached but present
Mid-eighteenth century longcase clock with thirty hour movement, eleven inch square brass dial, pierced face mask spandrels, matted centre with subsidiary calendar aperture and brass chapter ring, signed - Hampson Wrexham 1313, in an oak case with shaped door and mahogany border, hood with square door with integral turned columns, caddy top and frieze carved - L. R. A. 1750, 210cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition is quite good. Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Dial appears to be original to the movement. There are no extra holes in the front plate but two in back plate, one at bottom left hand corner adjacent to pillar and another above bell mount screw. Seat board is present but detached. Case is in reasonable condition. Some minor damage to veneers. Trunk door hinges are replacements and door no longer fits. Some signs of woodworm but appears inactive. Base not original . Hood door has veneer missing and top is damaged. There is no liner dial mask
Early nineteenth century longcase clock with eight day movement, fourteen inch painted break arch dial, painted figure spandrels, white dial, signed - M. Simpson, Cockermouth, with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials and moon roller calendar break arch, in a mahogany case with short shaped door, inlaid stringing and square fluted pillars, hood with arched door, twisted columns and swan-neck pediment with verre eglomisé panels and carved flower heads and central finial, 228cm overall height CONDITION REPORT Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Dial false plate and moon roller dial are signed - Finnemore Birmingham. Dial is dirty and enamelling crazed. Some damage to enamel along edges. Scuff in centre of dial between winding holes. Pendulum and weights present. Case is in quite good condition. Top of trunk door is damaged and stone finial is not original. Plinth front panel is cracked in places and veneer has been replaced in two places and veneer has been replaced in two places. One verre eglomisé panel is cracked and top right panel has piece missing

Dial is dirty and enamelling crazed. Some damage to lower left corner. Hour hand cracked. Minute hand broken and missing. One brass winding hole surround missing. Weights and pendulum present. Case in good condition. Trunk door cracked in two places. Hood pediment damaged
