An 18th Century Lacquered Longcase Clock with chinoiserie decoration. The eight day movement having a 11¾ in (30 cm) brass dial with ornate scrolling spandrels to the corners and a pair of dolphin mounts flanking a silvered convex roundel in the arch signed Step Clarke London. The silvered chapter ring engraved with Roman numerals counting the hours and an outer ring of Arabics counting the minutes. The matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring and a calendar aperture. The case with pagoda pediment above a fretted panel and integral columns flanking the dial. The trunk with gilded chinoiserie ornamentation on a dark green lacquered ground, 94 ins (239 cms) in height.

M: 8 day calendar moon phase 5 pillar movement striking on a bell with weights and pendulum. C: Mahogany case measuring approx 225cm tall/ base width 46cm/ trunk width 35.5cm. CONDITION REPORT D: Original dial in excellent condition. M. In very good condition. C: In very good condition, a crack in the middle of the base and a few small cracks in the hood. A tin trunk, Major T H Vile, High Sheriff, 1945-46, 60 cm wide, a silver mounted desk calendar, initialled T H V, inscribed ONCE A GUNNER, ALWAYS A GUNNER, and engraved military motifs, a tin box, VILE BROS, 32 cm wide, a tin box, 1918, 44 cm wide, and a mahogany tea caddy, the interior of the lid inscribed T H VILE ESQ, and an address (illegible, lid detached) (5)
A longcase clock, the 30 cm square brass dial signed J STANCLIFFE, BARKISLAND, with Roman numerals, face of the moon/calendar apertures, fitted a 30 hour movement, in an oak and mahogany case, 186 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by RB With a pendulum. The hood has probably been re-constructed as it looks a little 'mean' without any real cornice, and the columns are pretty unpleasant, the corners of the hood are knocked, no hands to the dial, the seat board is much later/modern. The movement overall is very dirty and probably has not run for sometime, and the spandrels have been spray painted with gilt, the trunk is missing its lock, and was previously fitted with some sort of latch which is now missing with its holes filled in, the base has its planks shrunk with gaps in between, and a later plinth base Please note that Charterhouse do not guarantee the working condition of any watch or clock.

Has a key which fits the lock but does not turn it. Cover initialled Ly.G. Exterior worn and battered with many losses. One handle incomplete, one end missing. Worm visible in carcass and with losses, carcass has shifted. Interior paper lining with cracks and losses. Leather straps to base. One of canvas straps to lid missing.
A small and rare 19th century trunk dial clock by G. Dold of Mount Street, London, Cuban mahogany case with cast brass bezel, hand made eight day movement, fusee drive and anchor recoil escapement, hand painted dial with Roman chapter markers, spade and spear hands, pendulum viewer to lower section, side door movement viewer, 17 x 13in. (43.2 x 33cm.). Condition: A 'Z' form scratch of 10mm to lower section of pendulum viewer. Some minor scuffs to outer edge 45mm scratch to left side of case, split to edge of case where two pieces of semi circular wood meet.
A good George II burr and figured walnut eight day longcase clock with interesting converted Duplex movement the five knopped pillar movement apparently converted from the original rare Duplex escapement to a later anchor escapement, the backplate with substantial full-width arched backcock with chamfered edges, the case with caddy top hood with stepped and foliate blind fretwork frieze and gilt brass mounted turned pilasters, the 12in. brass Roman dial with gilt mask spandrels signed to an oval reserve 'N. Delander London', with six-second calibrated subsidiary seconds at noon and chamfered date aperture at six, pull shutter closure to winding holes, the trunk with feather banded door on original strap hinges, the panelled base on stepped plinth with later block feet, 98in. (249cm.) high.
A Victorian mid-oak Admiral Fitzroy's Storm stick barometer by Negretti & Zambra, with mercury cistern tube, arched enamel dial with double scale, mercury thermometer to trunk, rectangular tablet cistern cover, 42¼in. (107.25cm.) high. Condition: Very original and unrestored. Oak would benefit from cleaning and polishing - polish has faded and rubbed in places. Tube, dial and thermometer in good condition, with no damage. Vernier knobs present and working. A good,, untouched example.

King' in yellow and gold three dimensional paintwork to upper surface of lid and sides, similar design number '2' to front,linen covered interior, orange and gold Louis Vuitton label, 37 x 21 x 15in. (94 x 53.5 x 38.25cm.).
A Meissen porcelain figure of a cherub gardener late 19th / early 20th century, underglaze blue factory mark and incised G100, pressnumeren 117 and 180, painter's no. 174, 5in. high, some losses. Condition: Losses include the rake handle and prongs, two branches to rear of trunk, one almost entire planted tree, blooms missing to larger potted tree, repair to upper and lower sections of spade.

A pair of and a single Derby seated figure, the pair seated on rococo bases, she with a basket of flowers on her lap, he with his black hat filled with fruit, crossed swords marks, 13cm (5 in) high, the single figure seated on a flowering tree trunk with his gun and his dog resting beside him, 13cm (5 in) high (3) (R) She has had restoration to both forearms, he to his right hand. Both hands and thegun barrel have been restored on the single figure and losses to the bocages have been tidied up.

Repairs to the arch frame of the dial and crack to the lettering piece; movement rebushed and cleaned; old seat board; two side mouldings loose; movement not tested.
