Gipsy Moth IV - Lot to include a limited edition, highly detailed model of Gipsy Moth IV, 406 of 500, the models built as part of the 40th anniversary of Sir Francis Chichester's voyage. Each model is mounted to a mahogany plinth made from a section of the keel of Gipsy Moth IV replaced during the restoration work and the model measures 36 cm x 31 cm including plinth. Also included in the lot is a print after Montague Dawson entitled Horn Abeam, commissioned by Frost & Reed to commemorate the journey, framed chart of the voyage made by Sir Francis Chichester, related publications and press clippings.
