Abbott, Lemual Francis (b.1760- d.1802) "THE BLACKHEATH GOLFER" c1900 – coloured engraving of William Innes and inscribed below "To The Society of Goffers at Blackheath – This Plate is with just Respect Dedicated by Their most humble Servant Lemuel Francis Abbott" and to the lower right "Engraved by V. Green Mezzotint Engraver to his Majesty the elector Palatine – good plate mark in original frame with gilt slips overall 30.75" x 22.25". Note: This was the first golf print to be published in 1790 and pictured William Innes The Captain of The Society of Golfers at Blackheath in 1778

Baxter, Graeme – signed "4TH GREEN - VALDERRAMA" Official Ryder Cup colour print ltd ed no. 150/850 signed by the artist and both the European (Winners) and US teams incl both captains but more importantly by Seve Ballesteros. Signed in pencil to the top and lower borders to incl Tiger Woods, Rocca, Montgomerie, Darren Clarke, O` Meara, Phil Mickelson, Langer, Maggert, Faxon, Tom Lehman, Ian Woosnam, Janzen, Nick Faldo, Lee Westwood, Olazabel, Furyk, Davis Love, Fred Couples, Tom Kite, Justin Leonard, Scott Hoch, - in all 27 signatures incl the artist Graeme Baxter – mf&g Overall 28.5 x 31". Note: The 32nd Ryder Cup Matches were held at the Valderrama Golf Club in Sotogrande, Spain, marking the first time the event was contested in continental Europe. The European team won the competition by a margin of 14½ to 13½ and retained the Ryder Cup - This was the first of four consecutive victories at home by Europe, a streak that remains intact through 2010. Hunter, Robert - "The Links" - 1926 ltd ed re-print no. 192/1500 – Publ` d by U.S. Golf Association Book Library c/w cloth boards with black and gilt title and spine plus the original slipcase - appears unread hence (VG). Note: Hunter` s The Links is a highly collectable classic, and the cornerstone of any golf architecture library. It outlines the principles of golf course design from the Golden Age, when many of the most treasured courses were built, and committed to legend. Vintage photographs, sketches, and illustrations abound, along with Hunter s insightful commentary
(†) British West African Currency Board, archival photographic designs for 10/- and £1, 1 January 1916, three layers for each design showing the obverse print and underprint, and the reverse design as one, also a piece of watermarked paper intended for use with both denominations, and a letter from De La Rue to W.H.Mercer, the government official in charge of approving the design.
