The second of The Right Reverend Father in God Edward Willes, 36 x 25cm (to the plate mark). Both framed in matching gilt frames. Qty: 4 The map of Gloucestershire with notable centre crease with potential repair to the back and toning throughout. The map of Durham with notable uneven toning across the map with a considerably lighter strip down the centre.The aquatints with notable losses to the frames and some creasing to the paper. The print of The Right Honourable Sir John Willes has been cut to within the plate mark.

UTAGAWA KUNIYOSHI (1797-1861) WOODBLOCK PRINT 'FOX LADY KUZUNOHA', Circa 1849-50'A man rescued a fox in distress. Later a young woman named Kuzunoha visited his house. They married and had a child. But the call from the Wilderness was so strong that she had to go back to nature. Here she holds her sleeping child and writes a farewell poem on a shoji-screen. She leaves her child and returns to her home in the wildnerness. 37cm x 24cm
