SUN RA - DISCO 3000 (EL SATURN CMIJ 78). Going on an astronomical trip with Sun Ra And His Myth Science Arkestra with this original US copy of Disco 3000 (El Saturn CMIJ 78). This pressing has orange labels, black text and the print attached to the white sleeve (orange paper with black print). The record is in super Ex+ condition with just one or two extremely light and faint wispy markings that are only really seen on side 2. MATRIX: CMIJ 78 A & B. The sleeve is in Ex+ condition with the vibrant orange print showing only minor signs of wear.

Lots 464 to 466Sir Misha Black OBE (1910-1977) and Sam Black MBE (1915-1999)The brothers, Misha and Sam Black, were both pioneers in Britain's post-war design culture: Misha in industrial design and Sam in public relations. Misha and his associates set up the Design Research Unit (DRU) in 1943, a multi-disciplinary design consultancy, and later he was one of the instigators of the Festival of Britain. Sam was head of Public Relations at the Association of Optical Practitioners (AOP) between 1948 and 1955, and was a founder member of the Institute of Public Relations from 1948.Both were heavily involved with the Brussels Expo 1958: Sam organised the British exhibitors as head of public relations at the British Electrical & Allied Manufacturers' Association, whilst the pavilion was designed by Misha and the DRU.
