JOHN LENNON ASTRID KIRCHHERR - limited edition photographic print of John taken by Astrid when he was in Hamburg during Dec 1962 and signed by her in pencil in the lower left margin. The presentation includes a plate in which Astrid describes the photo shoot and the original certificate which contains the wording featured on the plate is on the reverse of the frame. The print measures 24"x18" and is professionally mounted behind a blue velvet cloth on board. The brushed aluminium frame measures 36"x24" and has Tru Vue conservation glass to both the front and rear.
GEORGE HARRISON - a letter and gift in the form of a stunning "Green Tara" Buddhist print gifted from George to the artist (Stewart Beckett) that designed the Extra Texture album sleeve. The typed letter signed in blue ballpoint "George" is dated Oct 3 1975 and reads "Thank you for all your help". The letter (5" x 8") is on thick white parchment with "Om" symbol embossed at top and 2 South Street, Mayfair adress printed at bottom. The large framed print measures 19.5" x 25" and is of the "Green Tara" who is the "Mother of all Buddhas". It is signed in the mount "G.N Naked Yogx 1972". The frame measures 29.5"x35".
YESTERDAY & TODAY BUTCHER SLEEVE - incredibly rare piece of Beatles history in the form of celluloid proof colour separations/overlays (black, cyan, magenta & yellow) and 4 individual negatives (black, cyan, magenta and yellow) for The Beatles Yesterday and Today "Butcher" stereo sleeve on Capitol Records. The actual colour print space for the sleeve on the celluloid measures 32.4cmx32.4cm and the actual cells measure 38.3cm x 35.5cm. The four negatives are slightly larger than the celluloid seperations at 39.8cm x 36.3cm.
