A collection of signatures from 45 Spitfire and Hurricane pilots from The Battle of Britain. Two prints by the well-known artist Geoff Nutkins based in Shoreham, Kent: “A Salute to the Few” with certificate of authenticity, 94/100, 31 original signatures including the artist. “Duel” signed by 15 battle of Britain pilots depicting the Hurricane in action. A print depicting a portrait of Flight Sergeant James Alfred Patterson MBE born in New Zealand in 1919. On September 27th 1940, 92 Squadron engaged the enemy over Maidstone and James' aircraft was hit and his fellow pilots saw him crash in Shoreham Kent in his aircraft. The lot includes a folder of information.

Mare Crisium, the circular, dark-colored area near the center is near the eastern edge of the moon as viewed from Earth. Mare Nectaris is the ciruclar mare near the terminator. The large, irregular maria are Tranquillitatis and highlands to the south. The large, dark-colored crater Tsiolkovsky is near the limb at the lower right. Starting price: € 1.500The rising Earth is about five degrees above the lunar horizon in this telephoto view taken from the Apollo 8 spacecraft near 110 degrees east longitude. The horizon, about 570 kilometers (250 statute miles) from the spacecraft, is near the eastern limb of the Moon as viewed from the Earth. On the earth, the sunset terminator crosses Africa. The south pole is in the white area near the left end of the terminator. North and South America are under the clouds.
