1918-19 Sir John Power and Sons, Old Irish Whiskey. Bearing a War Revenue Act, 1918 label for The Mohican Hotel. Built in 1896, the Mohican Hotel was originally constructed to house Frank Munsey’s printing presses to print inexpensive magazines the working class could afford. By 1898, the building transformed into a hotel and shortly thereafter became one of the finest hotels in Connecticut.
