Angelika Kauffmann (1741-1807) - Circle, pair of allegorical classical paintings, oil on canvas, 44 x 65 cm, described on the reverse, in gilded 19th century frames. At the Museum Revoltella in Trieste there are two paintings from the same subjects displayed as works of Angelika Kauffmann. There are as well existing prints after Alexandre Evarist Fragonard (1780 – 1850) in the print collection of the Louvre - inventory numbers RF 31040 and RF 31041.Both paintings bears inscription B. West bottom right.
