John ', on headed paper, in original box with packaging.Background - Tony Dalton was a close friend of Ray Harryhausen for over 40 years and was Curator of the Ray & Diana Harryhausen Foundation which held most of Ray’s photographic and animation collection, including models. Tony has compiled and written five books on Ray - An Animated Life (2003), The Art of Ray Harryhausen (2005), A Century of Model Animation (2008), Ray Harryhausen: A Life in Pictures (2010) and Fantasy Scrapbook (2011). He is without doubt the leading expert on Harryhausen and has also given many lectures on the subject. All the items for sale were given to Tony as gifts beginning in 1977 and ending in 2003. All of the items have unrivalled provenance and are auctioned with a signed letter from Tony Dalton for each individual lot.
