The five works are based on early side-show "freak" photographs and were painstakingly engraved by Blake, the experience in producing the set was extremely taxing on the artist and aside from a single work included in the miniature print portfolio in 1973, it is the only time the artist used this medium. DAVID BOWIE - TURKISH 7" RELEASES. Lovely selection of 3 x extremely hard to track down original Turkish export 45s. Please read grading descriptions. Titles are Sorrow c/w Amsterdam (RCA 73.913 - VG record with surface and scuff markings though nothing heavier with no scratches, labels clean with the four pronged centre fully intact/VG incredibly rare fragile picture sleeve with the green print in clean order; there are two small tears on the opening edge and some minor ringwear, a more than solid copy), Rock 'N' Roll Suicide (74905 - VG record with surface and scuff markings though again with nothing too heavy and no feelable scratches, with clean labels and the four prong centre complete/Fair original picture sleeve is very worn on the front with a paper tear running across roughly half of the sleeve coming from the left side. There is also tape repair on the bottom edge on the front and reverse, the sleeve is still in one piece) and Space Oddity (73903, G+ with many surface and scuff markings with one or two small scratches, clean labels once more with the four pronged centre intact/unfortunately no picture sleeve).
