Andy Warhol (1928-1987) Exhibition poster 'Elizabeth Taylor', 1989, the poster image portrays the late actress Elizabeth Taylor from Warhol's original painting from 1966. The print was created for an Italian exhibition at the Fondazione Antonio Mazzotta Bolzano, Milan in 1989. framed and glazed, overall 81 x 111 cm.

T. Dudley, Coll. Reg., Oxon ... 1867' to front pastedown, front inner hinge gone; 2) A carbon print of warships at sea, c.1900?, framed and glazed, 355 x 275 mm; 3) A silver gelatin print by Thomas Stearn & Sons of Cambridge, with manuscript caption 'Punting races on the Cam, Cambridge, England, June 1919', ,mounted, framed and glazed, mount aperture 275 x 200 mm); 4) An albumen print depicting a man seated by a waterfall, c.1880?, mount aperture 235 x 290 mm; 5) A collection of cyanotypes of bridges, in 3 clear plastic Secol wallets; 6) And a large collection of mainly photograph reference including auction catalogues (nine boxes) The lot sold without reserve.

Marshall & Sons: An early 20th century, Marshall & Sons, Oxford St, Ripley, enamel sign, "Now Open, Marshall & Sons, Oxford St., Zoo Gardens, Large Outdoor Aviaries of English & Foreign Birds, Aquarium, Squirrel & Monkey House, Admission 1d Each, Teas Provided", also depicting a transfer print of a bird, snake, fish, and a monkey, by Chromo, Wolverhampton, measuring approx. 61cm x 53cm. Also includes a pair of stamps, "Telegrams: Marshall Zoo, Ripley, Derby" and "J. Marshall, Oxford Street, Ripley".History: The Marshall & Sons, Oxford St, Ripley, Zoo Gardens were opened in 1908 by John Marshall. Marshall and his family had a history of turning Ripley from a small market town into a busy town where they opened shops, businesses, a 1,000 seat cinema and ran a Turkish baths.
