An extremely large coloured print, 'Madonna and Child', image size 176 x 127cm, framed and glazed (af). CONDITION REPORT The external dimensions of the frame are 221 x 173cm, the frame is constructed of a gilt painted wooden liner and has applied polystyrene ceiling coving to the outer border which has heavy wear throughout with losses to the paint, dents, scuffs, scratches etc, the inner wooden panel has exposed screw heads which can be seen around the picture and the print itself is badly warped , possibly due to water damage with a very large vertical crease across the Madonnas face and running the full height of the image, further fading visible throughout with further creases visible in places ***Please be aware of the large dimensions this will require a high cube van to transport

The recipient of both was Mary Stopes-Roe, daughter of aeronautical engineer and designer of Dam Busters fame, Sir Barnes Neville Wallis. Both books have letters from Iain to Mary tucked in and print outs of emails from Mary to Iain.

Sir Henry Cooper signed 20x14 black and white print pictured at the weigh in before his fight with Cassius Clay. Sir Henry Cooper OBE KSG (3 May 1934 - 1 May 2011) was a British heavyweight boxer, best remembered for a 1963 fight with a young Muhammad Ali (then Cassius Clay), which Cooper, who at times looked on the verge of winning, lost when the fight was called off due to a cut. Cooper was undefeated in British and Commonwealth heavyweight championship contests for twelve years, and held the European heavyweight title for three years. In 1966 he fought Ali, by then world heavyweight champion, a second time and was again stopped due to a cut. Cooper twice was voted BBC Sports Personality of the Year, and after retiring in 1971 following a controversial loss remained a popular public figure. Evel Knievel signed 20x16 colour print pictured during his attempt to jump 13 London Buses at Wembley Stadium 1975. Robert Craig Knievel ( October 17, 1938 - November 30, 2007), professionally known as Evel Knievel, was an American stunt performer and entertainer. Over the course of his career, he attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps. Knievel was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999.
