STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE (1977) - Linen-Backed Full-Scale Rear Elevation "Robot R2" Production Blueprint - A linen-backed, full-scale rear elevation "Robot R2" blueprint from George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. This blueprint of loyal droid R2-D2 was originally drawn by draftsman Peter Childs, then printed and distributed on "The Star Wars"-branded drafting paper two months prior to filming.Originating from a 1976-era Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) crew member and labeled "Rear Elevation Robot Artoo," this linen-backed blueprint identifies several measurements of R2's design, as well as various DRG numbers. It is designated as the second of four sheets reissued by the production on January 23, 1976 to accommodate a design modification to the droid's legs. This blueprint underwent professional paper restoration to address water damage, making the stains less visible but muting down some of the original blue coloring in the process. The print has been linen-backed for stability and exhibits minor stains and wear along its edges from use. SERIES 1982-1993) - Nicholas Colasanto's Framed Geronimo Print - Nicholas Colasanto's framed Geronimo print from the production of Glen and Les Charles' and James Burrows' television series Cheers. A print of Geronimo, the famed Ndendahe Apache icon, hung in Colasanto's dressing room throughout Seasons 1 through 3 as he portrayed Sam Malone's (Ted Danson) former baseball coach "Coach" Ernie Pantusso. After Colasanto died, Sam put the print up on the wall of the bar's set, where it hung until the series finale, when he straightened it in Colasanto's honor. The scene was later honored in the series finale of Ted Lasso when bar owner Mae (Annette Badland) straightened her own copy of the Geronimo print in homage to Cheers' monumental cultural impact.This sepia-toned print of a landmark 1885 photograph of Geronimo holding a rifle features a historical statement in its top right corner. It comes mounted behind glass in a wood frame stamped "075.00" on the reverse and drilled with holes in each corner for mounting to the set. A space trucker and his fiancee were on their way from a space station to Earth with unknown cargo. When space pirates hijacked them, 5,000 disintegrator robots were found in the cargo.Created by film production director Simon Murton and various artists, this lot consists of a black vinyl three-ring binder labeled "Space Truckers Illustrations Simon Murton" on the spine with a handwritten note naming artists involved in production, including Ron Cobb and Simon Murton, 366 printed and photo concept images with printed and handwritten annotations and signatures, 30 color print behind-the-scenes and model sculpture photographs, and 13 Polaroids of model sculptures; and a black leatherette sketchbook marked "Space Truckers N Stuff" on the cover in silver-color ink featuring hand-drawn illustrations with handwritten annotations. Mork wore his helmet as he landed on Earth from Ork in his egg-shaped spaceship and later wore it during a visit to Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli's (Henry Winkler) house in the pilot episode. This helmet was originally used in the television series The Outer Limits' Season 2 episode "Soldier," where the helmet screen-matches to when it was worn by Quarlo Clobregnny (Michael Ansara) due to its unique structural features seen in close-up images, as well as how the brim is cut out and the various knicks at the mandibles. The helmet was later passed on to Williams to use as Mork in his cameo appearance in the television series Happy Days episode "Mork" and later for the series Mork and Mindy. This blueprint of loyal droid R2-D2 was originally drawn by draftsman Peter Childs, then printed and distributed on "The Star Wars"-branded drafting paper two months prior to filming.Originating from a 1976-era Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) crew member and labeled "Starboard Elevation Robot 'R2,'" this linen-backed blueprint identifies several components of R2's design, including the horseshoe modification and a five-inch-wide step. The DRG number is noted as "67." It is designated as the fourth of four sheets reissued by the production on January 23, 1976 to accommodate a design modification to the droid's legs. This blueprint underwent professional paper restoration to address water damage, making the stains less visible but muting down some of the original blue coloring in the process.
