AFTER TAKESADA MATSUTANI (1937-) "Propagation", silk screen artist's proof print inscribed, signed and dated '73 in the margin (ARR) CONDITION REPORTS Is under a plastic cover which is quite dirty. Bottom left corner of print has been creased and folded. Some slight yellowing towards outer edge of mount, and some areas of staining along bottom edge of the mount. Appears previously to have been out of the cover and has got quite dirty. Small tear along right side. Several areas of scratching to the main picture, under image where it folds - there are two deep scratches and two pin head bumps/dots of wear. A couple of small pin head areas of wear and some small scratches.
AFTER VICTOR VASERELY (1908-1997) "An untitled composition in shades of yellow and brown, in cube form", image size 53 cm x 54 cm, together with a volume of ten colour prints, each 27 cm x 27 cm (ARR) CONDITION REPORTS Is in a contemporary chrome frame which has numerous bumps and deep knocks to metal throughout - quite deep towards the top, picture is slightly discoloured but evenly throughout and slightly faded, there is a very slight crease to the second yellow area in from the edge approx. 5 cm along the top and approx. 2 cm along the outer, very slightly creased in a couple of other places. Binding of volume of ten prints is in very used condition (please see photo), back is very worn with wear to gilding and a large amount of creasing to edges, binding quite worn and rubbed to all corners with creases to edges and corners. Prints - ones on white show some discolouration and slight yellowing to edges but otherwise appear reasonably sound, silver mounted print appears reasonably sound, prints on black background have some nibbles to edges of the black on the outer edges (please see photos), and one with triangular point decoration has a fold across the lower right corner where the black has come away completely (please see photos).
AFTER P SANDBY (1725-1809) "The encampment in the museum garden MDCCLXX" and "The encampment in Hyde Park MDCCLXXX", a pair of black and white prints, 30 cm x 45 cm, one bearing "James Rimell & Son" label verso, (2) CONDITION REPORTS Both prints are very browned in colour throughout. "The Encampment in the museum garden ..." has clearly been cut down right to the edge and has small areas of damage all along the top edge and some damage/restoration to centre of skyline, there is foxing throughout. Other print appears in more sound condition but is still quite browned with some foxing to skyline. Both in quite dated frames which have knocks and bumps to corners and general wear to edges throughout, inner black top left corner to one of the frames has a chip approx. 1 x 1 cm.

AFTER LUCA GOIRDANO (1632-1705) "Christ Disputing with the Doctors", P & D Colnaghi & Co. Ltd label to the reverse stating "second state of two", etching, 11.5" x 16.25"There is a crease line running down the middle of this print. There are also other small crease marks in places especially around the edges. Also occasional spot marks. The work appears to be mounted and stuck to the mount in places although not fully stuck down. Not inspected out of the frame.
19TH CENTURY SCHOOL, `Taking a Fly`, published by Thos. Mclean, 26 Haymarket, titled and numbered. 1 to the margin and print, 7.75" x 9.25" (plate), hand coloured engraving, and two further etchings, including `A View of Blandford` (3)The fly fishing print appears in fair condition with some discolouration to the paper but the colours are still strong, and no apparent damage or restoration. The shooting print has creases and a loss to the centre as well as some stains and the frame is in poor condition. The Blandford print is also discoloured with occasional spots.
H TAIGEN (?) A heavy horse and her foal, signed and dated `23 in pencil to the margin and further titled, woodblock print, 11" x 12.5" Slight discolouration. Occasional spotting. No apparent damage or restoration. The mount is quite stained especially on the right hand side. The work has not been inspected out of the frame.
AFTER MARTIN PEIKERT (1901-1975) `Davos, Schweiz Weissfluh`, an advertising ski resort poster, circa 1938 with printed signature and publishers details of A Trub Cie, colour print, 41" x 26.5". See illustrationThere is a repair in the lower left corner. There are also losses on the face of the figure. There are also other areas of creasing to the paper surface. The work appears to be stuck down. It is framed and glazed and has not been inspected out of the frame.
