Reading The Hexagon concert poster on 4th March 1985 (with Zincpark printing credit). Note - all of the Meat Is Murder Tour posters were printed on what is colloquially know as 'rice paper' by Zincpark to a standard design and print font. Unusually for this poster, the Reading Hexagon managed to get their name logo printed instead of the standard uniform typeface that all the other Meat Is Murder Tour posters were restricted to.Set list was: William, It Was Really Nothing / I Want the One I Can't Have / What She Said / Handsome Devil / How Soon Is Now? / Shakespeare's Sister / Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now / That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore / Reel Around the Fountain / Rusholme Ruffians / Hand in Glove / The Headmaster Ritual / Nowhere Fast / Still Ill / Meat Is Murder / Barbarism Begins At Home / Miserable LieSize - 20 x 30 inches. Condition - Excellent
Nine page 1983 press release for The Smiths with a very enlightening front page biography, band trivia and press cuttings from articles in the NME, Sounds, No.1 etc. Print quality is slightly compromised by the rather unwise use of green paper (presumably to make it stand out from the usual pile of daily press releases received by the media).Condition - Excellent
THE SMITHS - HAND IN GLOVE 7" (NO COMPANY ADDRESS - RT 131). Lesser known pressing of 'Hand In Glove' with no company address on the back of the sleeve, understood to have been pressed for export purposes. The sleeve is in Ex+ condition (a small print fault smudge next to the band's name, a lot these had this fault). The record is in Ex+ condition showing only a couple of very light and faint paper marks. A-side Matrix Etching - RT 131 A-2U-1-2 (Kiss My Shades). B-side Matrix Etching - RT 131 B1 (KISS MY SHADES TOO / PORKY)
