A rare George III Channel Islands 22ct gold wedding ring, maker's mark IQ struck once (Jacques Quesnel I & II, Jersey 180-1843), inscribed 'IDP 18 Mars 1824', with later Victorian 9ct gold and coral set top, size O.* Condition: The ring is in good condition overall. One of the small end coral stones has been out at some stage due to wear to the claws and has been glued back in place. There is some scratching to the top of the coral as one would expect from the age.
A graduated pair of George III style inlaid mahogany basket top jardinière stands, second half 20th century, with painted stringing and inlaid fan paterae to the shaped undertiers uniting the swept, tapered supports, with brass liners and brass lion mask ring handles with beaded swags, the taller 47¾in. A good Regency Channel Islands inlaid mahogany linen press, the flared cornice over a trellis inlaid and barber's pole banded frieze, above two doors with recessed elliptical panels, cross banded in rosewood and with boxwood stringing and reeded brass joint strip, enclosing the original interior with slides, the base with four rosewood cross banded graduated drawers with the original lion mask ring handles, on swept feet united by a wavy apron, 49 x 22in. (124.5 x 56cm.), 90in. (228.5cm.) high.
A good early 19th century Channel Islands inlaid mahogany longcase clock, by Michel Quesnel of Jersey, the arched brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, gilt brass floral and scroll spandrels, silvered strike/silent dial t arch, matted centre with silvered subsidiary seconds and date aperture, signed to a silvered plaque, fronting an eight day bell strike movement, the case with boxwood strung arched hood with two giltwood finials to the stepped moulded cornice and chamfered pilasters, the trunk with arrow and shell inlaid arched door, over a parquetry banded base with central shell patera, on bracket feet united by a wavy apron, 87in. (221cm.) high.
A 17th century style longcase clock movement, the arched brass dial signed to arch 'K.J. v. Sch RvM 1604' in a cartouche held by two winged putti, within foliate decorative and mask spandrels, silvered Roman chapter ring, with arcaded Arabic outer five minute track, centre sunburst and pierced gilt brass hands, a/f cdn.
