A Royal Worcester Nautilus shell vase, Circa 1880-90 The ivory glazed vase modelled as a large open shell, mounted on a coral tendril base, further adorned with smaller conch shells, mounted on a stepped circular socle base, relief moulded with bands of shells and sea foliage, 21cm high, faint factory marks, impressed shape number X10 CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1751: Some discolouration, applied paint just below the rim approximately 2cm x 5cm and similar applied paint internally possibly covering minor internal chips, ring is good doesn't sound as if it is chipped, very minor pin prick chips to ring otherwise good condition.
A collection of late 19th Century and later black basalt wares Comprising a teapot and cover, the exterior sides relief moulded with alternating panel depictions of embracing lovers and floral sprays, set within laurel leaf borders, impressed factory mark, 14cm high, a circular cache pot, raised on a spreading circular low foot ring, adorned with relief foliate garlands and depictions of the Three Graces, 9cm high, a lidded sucrier further adorned with relief moulded depictions of classical and Bacchantes figures, and further basalt wares, some unmarked. (7) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1755: Teapot and cover - the teapot handle has been restored halfway down, the rim of the teapot also restored and it has an unusual treacle glazed interior which suggests it has been subjected to restoration. Oval sugar bowl and cover - cover minor interior chips, one chip to the exterior rim, the lower bowl good condition. Sucrier and cover - good condition. Circular sucrier and cover with applied decoration - restoration to circular cover, good condition, lid loose maybe associated. Small jardiniere - good condition. Small vase - good condition. Small spill vase with a classical bust - good condition.
A Minton's two handled vase and cover The blue ground decorated with a white frieze painted with pendant garlands of roses and blooms raised upon a circular foot, red coronet and globe mark circa 1900, 11.5cms, a Minton's thistle shape box and cover the white ground with a gilt rim decorated with roses and other blooms, red coronet and globe mark, a similarly decorated heart shape box and cover, a coffee can, two saucers and a damaged basket. (7) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1785: Two handled vase and cover - cover in good condition, the two handled vase - overall crazing to the blue ground, no crazing to the white frieze, gilt to handles and rim bright, no restoration to handles and beads, very fine hairline crack to foot rim, minor. Thistle shape box and cover - good condition. Heart shape box and cover - good condition. Pair of shaped rose painted dishes - both in good condition. Coffee can - doesn't ring but no sign of cracks. Shaped basket - handle broken and detached, chipped rim.

A fine George III inlaid mahogany Adam style decanter box The pyramidal hinged cover with an urn finial enclosing four compartments, the front with a cockbeaded frieze drawer enclosed by satinwood and rosewood crossbanding with ebony and boxwood line inlays raised upon shaped bracket feet with later ribbon tied brass ring handles, 57x27x27cms (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Condition Report Lot 1858: The hinged cover the urn pointed finial missing and worn down, surface scratching to the pyramidal sections, some minor stringing missing to the left hand side of the hinged top, some stringing missing to the left hand side of the hinged top, some stringing missing to the front left hand side approx 5cms and a strip approx 2cms, the interior old repairs and timber infill to the right hand hinge and some timber missing in front of the left hand hinge, the infilled piece on the right hand hinge measures approx 10x2cms. hinges old, old screws probably original, some scratching and bruising to the top of the lower section when the box is open minor, interior divisions in good condition, left and right hand ring handles replaced, piece of mahogany infilled above the left hand handle approximately 2x1.5cms and the same on the right hand side, the front the broad crossbanded inlay left hand side proud and requires re-gluing, stringing missing on the outer edge approx. 20cms, the front drawer with repairs to 3 of the angles, top left, bottom left and bottom right approx. 1x1.5cms, roundel lion mask handle to front possibly replaced, shaped ogee bracket feet old, possibly original, on the underside there are holes which would suggest they may have had other supports, bottom left hand side above the ogee bracket feet, inset narrow inlay possibly replaced appears to be Ebony without any inlay.
A collection of twelve jelly moulds, Victorian-Edwardian The first stamped D Horsley No: 14, the skirt with large and small pointed lobes, surmounted by a ring of overlapping leaves with a central roundel. 16cms x 12cms diameter, the second stamped 13 the skirt with pointed lobes surmounted by rounded top 15cms, 11cms diameter, a set of six small moulds each with fluted ends stamped 56, and four moulds with a petal shape rim, fluted borders, the interior stamped B, 4cms (12) (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1860 - The first stamped D Horsley no holes, no splits, extensively crevasses with old polish the large lobes around the surbase, the majority are dented and bruised, the smaller lobes minor dents, one has a brass seam running through it and also around the circular base, visibly running up to the circle above the pointed lobes approx. 13cms, the ring of over lapping leaves on the top extensively infilled with old polish, the top leaves bruised, the 2nd larger mould stamped 13 small dents around the rim of the circular base, visible brass line seal running from base to top circle approx. 14cms, the pointed lobes with some bruises and denting to edges, infilled old polish, bruising to the top circular outer roundel, denting to the top circle, no splits or holes, 6 small moulds - the interior is extensively infilled with old polish and old polish infill to fluted outer body, surface scratching, minor bruising. The 4 moulds - the interior is extensively infilled with polish, some polish sitting in the lower part of the outer flutes, surface scratching, minor bruising and minor pitting, no splits or holes.

A good oak and gilt brass bracket clock With a 16cm silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals with slow fast chime silent and chime on eight gongs and chime of four gongs in the arch within a rose and leafy gilt foliate ground, the substantial three train brass cylinder movement stamped W & H Sch for Winterhalder & Hofmeier of Germany striking the hour on a large gong and eight subsidiary gongs with a pull repeat on the hour, the case with an arched moulded top with urn finials above stop fluted and brass inlaid quarter columns, the sides inset with panels applied with gilt metal mounts depicting vases of fruit, scrolls and flowers raised upon a stepped plinth base, lions wined paw feet. 45cms high x35x24.5cms. A late 18th Century ebonised bracket clock With a 20cm arched dial signed Thomas Walter, London on a sunken silvered sector in the matted centre above a calendar aperture, the silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, leaf and foliate spandrels, strike silent ring in the arch enclosed foliate mounts, the four pillar movement with twin fusee's, strike on bell with anchor escapement, the back plate engraved with a central urn on a pedestal enclosed within an oval and flanked with trailing flowers, foliate engraved movement securing brackets to the case, the pendulum with adjusting screw, the case with a bell top, fish scale frets to the sides, brass side carrying handles, plain glass spandrels to the front door raised upon a plinth base. 50cms high x 30.5cms x 17.5cms. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: The ebonised case - the bell shape top surface scratching, the hinged door hinges, tight, centre screws missing to right hand hinge, glazed door old putty appears to be the original glass, glass spandrels fixed with pins possibly original, lacking escutcheon, some discolouration to strike silent ring in the arch, pointer possibly not original. gilt leafy applied border to ring good condition, spandrels some minor rubbing, silver chaptering rubbed, hands would appear to be original, some rubbing to silvered name plate and square aperture, gilt metal fretwork sides replaced and red ground behind with card backing replaced, overhead saucer bell possibly replaced, movement now with anchor escapement, signs on the rectangular engraved back plate of circular apertures possibly relating to an earlier verge escapement which would have had a short bob pendulum which now has possible a later pendulum, movement not working, side carrying handles old but possibly added later.

CONDITION REPORT: Not in working order.
A gilt metal Pendule d'officier style gilt brass mantle clock early 20th Century With a 10.5cm silvered dial signed in the chapter ring, Finnigans, Arabic numerals, the central roundel engraved with a scale pattern, pierced gilt hands, the two train movement striking on a coiled gong, the rectangular case with a concave sided cresting with an entwined snake handle above pendant laurel leaves, sides applied with a leafy beaded flower head raised upon turned gilt metal feet. 20cms high x 12x8cms, with key (illustrated) *** The clock is modelled on a pendule d'officier. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2074: the gilt brass bezel minor discolouration to bezel, original glass, hinge tight, silvered dial several spots of discolouration, one in between eleven and twelve Arabic numerals and some brown discolouration running in the outer ring just ahead of seven and in front of five, hands bright and good condition, Finnigans and made in France description worn, hardly visible, some discolouration to the leafy lower spandrels, snake handle some discolouration and also to the flower requires cleaning, some verdigris just on the ledge above the applied leaf decoration on the right hand side, dust in filled in to cracks, rear glazed door minor movement to hinge, original glass. The movement - old repair soldered to hammer, not in working order.
A George III inlaid mahogany longcase clock With a 31cm arched brass dial with a silver chapter ring signed Helm , Ormskirk with subsidiary seconds, the centre engraved with mask and scrolling leaves, leafy mask spandrels, the two train eight day movement with anchor escapement, rack striking on a saucer bell, the case with a swan neck cresting with flower terminals and urn finials above a glazed panel painted with leaves above turned wood columns, the trunk with a long door, well figured wood flanked by quarter columns raised upon a panelled plinth base with two weights, pendulum and movement winding key, glazed door cracked. approximately 231cms x width of plinth 50x25cms. CONDITION REPORT: Condition Report Lot 2115 - not in working order. date approx 1780-1800 The case, turned finials on left and right hand side possibly replaced, central finial possibly replaced traces of glue beneath the plinth on which it sits, old polish within the flowers, some rubbing to the glazed panels to the gilt the arched glass with an extended crack from left to right, the hinges are loose particularly the top hinge requires strengthening, some movement to the lower hinge, piece of veneer missing to the corner of the top of the upright column on the left hand side, lower plinth to the upright column piece of plinth missing at the back, return moulding right hand side beneath the right hand column piece of moulding missing at the back measures approx. 10cmsx0.25cms long door, some movement to the top hinge requires tightening, slight drop to the right hand side minor, the case possibly polished, some scratching to the plinth, some scratching to the bracket feet particularly the right hand side, original back board with old tape running the full length upto plinth, inside of the hood an old canvas applied on the left hand side and two strips of the right hand side where old splits have been brought together, the arched dial the seconds hand bent, scratching to the silver chaptering and scratches to the metal below, some scratching to the outer gilt brass ground, original foot board, repair to the wire upright which guides the pendulum, movement dusty not running, one winding wheel attached to cat gut one winding wheel separated, repair to the pendulum, the bob scratched. IN MY OPINION THE DIAL, MOVEMENT AND CASE BELONG TOGETHER.

(illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: The case, the hood with a pineapple gilt finial, the plinth which it sits upon and the lower small plinth may be associated, dentil and blind fretwork and flowers good condition, hinges sound but a little loose, glass good condition, old putty around the rim, fluted columns good condition, fret work sides good condition, the trunk door fits flush to cabinet no warp, hinges solid no movement, minor scratching just below the door, minor surface scratching to raised panel plinth, some scratching to front claw and egg feet, the arched dial surface scratching to the arch, possibly later centre sweep hand, movement striking on a coiled gong, foot board original some rust to the pendulum hook, some signs of later soldering to the bracket which supports the pendulum, movement complete, some space between the arched dial and the cheek boards, with two weights and a pendulum.

(illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Pagoda shape top to the hood lacking a finial, carved flowers part of the scrolling leaf damaged approximately 2.5cms, the glass frieze possible crack or division in the centre and a crack on the right hand side, gilt decoration dull, glass to door original, holder original putty in place, crossbanding and line inlays to door good some tarnishing to the gilded tops and plinth of fluted columns, left hand back column lacking, the right hand back column sits overtly proud, trunk, pine back natural shrinkage crack, old wall fixing screw apertures, long door warped at the top and dose not close tight, good colour, discolouration to the capitals and bases of the fluted side columns, original pine horizontal board to bottom plinth, side moulding right hand side missing, stress crack running horizontally on the bottom of the raised panel plinth good colour, the panel is sitting proud on the right hand side and requires tightening, lacking feet, the arched dial some discolouration to gilding the arch, lunar calendar some scratching to the paintwork of the castle, moon face and bridge rubbing to the silvered chapter ring, some dirt discolouration to the central matted ground, scratching and rubbing to the seconds ring and date aperture, fingers appear original. movement not running (the side. moulding off the plinth is in the box with the clock requires re-fixing, but slightly chipped on the outer edge), foot board part replaced.

A primitive late 18th early 19th Century oak and elm cricket table With a 66.5cm three plank top with an elm roundel boss and three cylindrical plain legs. 63cms (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Condition Report Lot 2158: The circular top surface scratching ring stains circular and rectangular water stains, some shrinkage between the three boards, the circular boss underside with a metal strengthening supporting band 36cm x 3cm, the three supports each have supporting block underneath stained and not contemporary with the table, some worm holes to the boss no dust visible, one leg one or two worm holes and live.
A 19th Century primitive fruit wood and ash cricket table The near circular deep top raised on three circular section legs and shaped feet. 47x43.5cms, depth of top 6cms approx. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: The height of the table is 48cms. The top, surface scratching, several dark ring stains and other stains, good colour the underside, the three supports, one with some rot at the extremity, some worm holes, worm alive, second leg, worm holes worm alive, third leg some worm holes worm alive, generally the worm holes are rising from the feet solid but require treatment.
A late 18th Century oak chest of drawers The rectangular moulded top above two short and three long graduated cock beaded drawers each with engraved brass escutcheons brass swan neck handles raised upon a plinth base and bracket feet 87 x115 x 49cm CONDITION REPORT: The rectangular top surface is faded with some ring marks and surface scratching, top right hand drawer and top left hand drawer original pine drawer linings, minor scratching to the front surface, 1st long drawer - original drawer linings, 2nd and 3rd long drawers original drawer linings, some rusting to lock plates, handles appear original no visible signs on the reverse of older or later holes, however on the front there are some oval marks particularly on the 1st long drawer which might indicate earlier handles, escutcheon's attractive and engraved, some scratching to the plinth, bracket feet good condition, shrinkage crack on the right hand side measures approx. 43cms up front the plinth, original back boards, left hand side some small amount of fading, no shrinkage, good solid chest of drawers.

Brass handles old with old nut and bolt fixing but possibly replaced traces of roundel marks behind the outer brass handle, good figuring to the frieze drawer, each side good condition, surface scratching to the lower part of the legs, feet scuffing minor, some old worm holes on the back pine board.

CONDITION REPORT: The top is faded particularly the front section, the back quarter is less faded and has some colour, outer crossbanded border on the left hand side slightly rough to the touch with some fading, minor slithers of stringing missing to the outer border, front long drawer fitted with a possibly later cutlery division, handles replaced with ring marks to the extremity of the lions mane, right hand deep drawer replaced handle, colour good, stringing around the border good condition, some minor surface scratching, triangular pieces of veneer has been reset on the border above the stringing on the drawer, measures approx 8x1cms triangular , tambour shutter slides some play in the centre section with the brass roundel handle, otherwise in good condition, some surface bruising to the spandrels above the shutter, left hand drawer lacking escutcheon replaced lions mask handle, faded, small piece of veneer missing on the left hand leg approx. 05cms, left hand side is faded with a stress crack running the full distance measures 43cms, surface is a little scrubbed with fading some minor scratching to tapering legs, original castors, back in good condition.
