A late 18th century walnut cased longcase clock the eight day movement striking on a bell, with square brass dial signed `John Waters London`, with silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds, date aperture, pierced steel hands and gilt brass mask spandrels, the walnut case with flared moulded pediment over a square glazed door, the trunk with moulded arched door flanked by canted column pilasters, on a plain plinth base, 74.75in. A late 19th century German burr walnut bracket clock the 5in. brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a matted centre, within cast foliate spandrels, the two train movement quarter striking on two coilded gongs, stamped `Lenzkirch A.G.U. 52 940611`, the case with palmette cresting to the spreading surmount, between gilt pine cone finials, the bevelled glazed arched door between canted corners with gilt brass mask mounts, on a stepped base and block feet, 15.25in.
