The frame inset with an oval porcelain plaque painted with flowers within gilt-metal cartouche, the glazed door opening to reveal two shelves, flanked by Baroque style gilt-metal brackets, raised on bun feet, L77cm x D34.5cm x H106cm Condition Report: The top with some scratching and water ring marks. Some losses to gilt metal beading at top rim which is coming loose, some minor losses to stringing and veneers, bun feet may be later replacements, noticeable surface scuffing and scratching, particularly around base.

The head chased with an initial 'N' within a stylised leaf surround and showing the remnants of royal-blue enamelling, this within a partial white enamelled single-line border and fleur-de-lys shoulders with again only remnants of white enamel, on a plain shallow 'D' section shank, the back of the head stamped '22-C', size P, 3.3g gross. Condition Report: Evidence of quite clumsy old repairs to both shoulders at the shank-shoulder and head joint.

Condition Report: Overall fair condition, general wear to both sides of the gallery through wearing up against another ring. Requires a thourough clean!.Sapphires measure approx. 5.5mm x 4.2mm x 2.35mm(1). & 4mm x 3.7mm, onle pale blue, the other slightly smaller and with more green hue so probably a later replacement(?). Diamonds measure approx. 1.2mm-1.4mm.

A late Victorian gold and opal five stone ring. The graduated oval-cabochon white -opals each display a pleasing play of mostly green and yellow colour on an orange ground, all claw set to a tapering 'shallow 'D' section shank, stamped '18ct', size R, 3.6g gross. Condition Report: Overall good condition, evidence of an old sizing. The largest opal measures approx. 5.1mm x 4.2mm x 1.3mm. One stone immediately left of centre (orientated via the mark) is a much higher dome than the rest and probably a later replacement(?).
