An 18 Carat Gold Blue Stone and Diamond Three Stone Ring, the oval cut blue stone flanked by round brilliant cut diamonds, in white double claw settings, to a yellow tapered shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.50 carat approximately, finger size M1/2The ring is in good condition with slight abrasion to the facet edges of the blue stone. It is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'FEU', London, 1990. The blue stone is testing as a sapphire on the refractometer however it displays strain on the polariscope, in our opinion likely a composite stone. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity VS2/SI1/SI2. Gross weight 3.3 grams. CR made 21.06.24.
