Grip dated '1874' and with four-digit serial number '65xx', the same serial number can be found on the barrel, on the latch and on the cylinder. Arrow engravings on the receiver. Possible traces of a mark on the bottom of the grip. A total of 9000 examples were produced with the inscription 'REISSUE', numbered separately from 1 to 9000. This special series included both Second Model Russians and Third Model Russians, made mainly for Turkish and Japanese contracts and for civilian markets. This could be a very rare Japanese Third Model (1000 produced in all) for the civilian market, given the lack of military marks and the 44 Russian cal. which was not used in Turkey. dating: 17th Century provenance: Italy, Light, wooden lance with thin, neck-lacquered (missing parts), iron tip, the first part shaped as a truncated cone, smooth and painted in gold with trophies, a bird and floral motifs (missing parts), after a shortened segment it is cylindrical and with longitudinal grooves, then it decreases in wideness towards the tip, with remains of gold painting. The quintain has Roman origins, and it was played during military trainings. In 17th Century three variants of the play were introduced, including the ring joust in which this kind of lance was used. The knight that would take off more rings won. See a very similar item at Odescalchi Museum, in Rome. height 268.5 cm.

dating: 18th Century provenance: Naples or Spain, Smooth, two-stage, 16 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part with two marks of A. Pedro Esteva (Stöckel 328/329) among small marks and decorations with remains of silver, then round after a ring and acanthus with moulded muzzle; richly carved tang; slightly carved, engraved and pierced miquelet flintlock, batterie with effigy of a soldier with helmet. Wooden full stock with grooved butt, smooth brass mounts. Missing ramrod. Iron belt hook. length 60.5 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: USA, Octagonal, rifled, 36 cal. barrel, with foresight, smooth, six-shot cylinder. The upper part of the frame is marked with the factory inscription and patents from 1856, 1859 and 1860. Grip with smooth walnut grips. Large trigger guard provided with trigger and ring loading lever. Some pitting. Working mechanics. length 35,5 cm.
dating: 15th Century provenance: Italy, Iron, almost cylindrical-shaped structure. Two-stage, 30 mm cal. barrels. The first worked with sections shaped as a truncated cone and alterned rings. The small vent on the top is inside a hollowed base (probably with remains of a cover pan). Cylindrical trunnions in the middle. The second order is cylindrical and reinforced with a sequence of eleven thick rings. Finally the nozzle, with big bell-mouthed moulded muzzle. Behind the breech, there is a long pommel shaped as a truncated cone, reinforced by a ring at the border. length 146 cm.
dating: last quarter of the 16th Century provenance: Nuremberg, Smooth, two-stage, 12 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part with Nuremberg stamp and, after ring, round; finely angled, smooth tang; flat plate lock with external, convex wheel, stamped with 'NK' among the effigy of glasses, with safety lock and snap pan cover, few engravings; wooden full stock richly decorated with bone tarsia depicting effigy of hunter on horseback, nobleman, eagle, bear and dog fighting, hounds, wild-boar and hare among hops and bands; flattened, spherical pommel depicting bust of a warrior with helmet; iron trigger and trigger guard; bone-tipped wooden ramrod. length 54 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Naples, Smooth, two-stage, 17 mm cal. barrel, first octagonal then round divided by a ring, the base with a frame with gilding remains, brass foresight, moulded muzzle nozzle; miquelet lock signed 'BISANTI', the base of the nipple with grooves and gilding remains, whole stock in fine wood with brass mounts. Iron ramrod and belt hook. length 33.5 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Syria, Curved, flat, single-edged blade (in damask?); iron cross hilt, handle with wooden grips and engraved brass hilt, angled pommel with ring. Wooden, leather-covered scabbard (small restoration) with brass-foiled mounts decorated with dots, two iron bands with suspension rings. length 90 cm.
dating: First half of the 16th Century provenance: Europe, Flat plate, of elongated shape with remains of frames engraved with racemes. The external wheel at the center engraved with a sun and fixed by a thick ring-nut shaped as a crescent. Tang maybe with remains of a mark shaped as a double comb. Another item, similar in mechanism and manufacture, slightly bigger but in worse conditions, was sold for 1200 euro in our sale (auction fee excluded, auction 111, lot 468). length plate 15,7 cm.
