In this respect all that could be done would be to remove this topetwist fine linkage and simply have the chain as an oval link chain. There is no swivel fitted to the chain either. Sadly generally poor condition.

The movement is in good condition and was running before consignment. It may require a service. The case has been restored in the past. The base appears to have been reconstructed. The bracket feet are incorrect. Some reveneering in places.
