An oak cased longcase clock, 19th century, the hood with rounded top and brass finials, the trunk with single door, on plinth base, the 8 day movement with painted dial and Roman numeral chapter ring, framed by floral and shell spandrels, with weight and pendulum, 198cm high CONDITION REPORT: Some heavy wear to front door and body, and wear elsewhere throughout. Trim to bottom of the base is detached along the front and left hand side, and there is a vertical split on the right hand side of the base. Clock face shows some craquelure and some wear to painted writing. Mechanism appears clean and intact.
