A silver sweet dish by Abrahams Brothers, Birmingham, 1914, sides pierced with band of slats below fretwork band, on three scroll supports, 13 cm. diameter, 12 cm. high, wt. 161 gm.The lower junction of one support is coming away from the central ring below the body where the three supports converge and would need minor re-soldering, a tiny job for a silversmith.
A French Provincial silver wine taster, 1st. standard, 1819/38, with ribbed ring handle, sides fluted on one half and lobed and stamped with fruiting vines to other side, rim initialled "A.M", domed at centre, 7.5 cm. diameter, wt. 67 gm. Overall good order, a couple of small nicks or file marks to edge of rim, well marked on handle.
