An English porcelain part tea service, 19th century, decorated in the manner of Rockingham, comprising: eight coffee cups, six teacups, and fifteen saucers of varying sizes, the cups with ring and spur handles, each decorated with a central peony, four floral reserves to the border surrounded by a gilt floral and foliate design, shaped border, painted fraction mark '3/252' to base (Qty) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:Four of the coffee cups and all of the tea cups show hairline cracks, and/or repairs to the handles. Two teacups and two saucers also show chips to the rim. All pieces show surface wear, surface scratching, rubbing to the gilt highlights and the odd stain.

Repairs seen to the point where pear cut point meets square cut diamond setting edge (on both sides of head) Under bezel is very finely made.Evidence of re sizing piece seen to shank. Indistinctly stamped with numbers and 'all plat' . Signs of wear commensurate with age and wear.Ring would benefit from a clean.

With a 75cm curved, pointed single edged blade with broad shallow fuller, decorated in gilt with military trophies, Royal coat of arms and GR beneath a crown, marked to the ricasso for Osborn and Gunby, marked 'Warranted', with slotted hilt and slender guard with cypher and crown, the leather grip bound in twisted wire, with a lion's heads pommel, in a leather scabbard with three brass mounts and twin ring suspension, 90cm overall. *CR A fine sword, leather on scabbard distressed, light marking and wear in places, but generally in good order.
With an 85cm curved and fullered blade with pointed and end and sharpened edge, with brass hilt and langets with pointed edges, shaped leather grip and steel scabbard with single ring suspension, 103cm overall. *CR Grip with signs of wear and use, blade with light marks protected by an old, possibly original layer of grease, the scabbard with lightly varied surface and crease towards toe.
With an 83cm pointed blade with partial double fuller, marked to one side for the King's Own Borderers, to the other with crest and battle honours to include Egypt. Marked to the ricasso for E. Thurkle, Maker, Soho London. With basket hilt with pierced heart decoration and scrolling frame, with fish skin covered grip. With steel scabbard with twin ring suspension, 101cm overall. With cross bar to replace basket hilt. *CR lacking a small element at the top of the handle, light patches of rust in small areas on blade.
With a 25cm tapering and pointed blade marked for F.W. Holler of Solingen, the cross piece with eagle with wing's outstretched above a swastika, with white bakelite handle, the pommel with oak leaf decoration. In scabbard with twin ring suspension, 39.5cm overall. *CR Blade very nice, scabbard and hilt with slight wear and dent towards end of scabbard.
A second pattern Luftwaffe Officer's dress dagger with a 25.5cm pointed blade marked 'Tiger Solingen', the cross piece with a Luftwaffe eagle with swastika in its claws, with a wire bound orange celluloid grip and oak leaf and swastika decorated pommel. The scabbard with twin ring suspension and oak leaf decoration. 43cm overall. *CR small area of loss to grip, binding wire loose dent to end of scabbard. Blade good.
A pair of 19th century Indian Benares type circular shields, with raised 'buttons' to the centre, allover engraved decoration with red highlighting, with turned rims, the padded grips with four ring fitted strap handles. 36cm wide. *CR Straps distressed, surface marked and rubbed, light dents to rim.
A 2nd pattern Luftwaffe dagger with a 25cm tapering and pointed blade marked for Paul Weyersberg & Co. Berlin, the cross piece with flying eagle with swastika in its claws, with plastic wire bound grip and flattened oval pommel with further swastika, with scabbard with twin ring suspension and oak leaves to the end. With silver bullion knot. 42cm overall. *CR Good condition, blade with much original finish, fraying to knot in places.
With an 82cm curved, pointed and single edged blade with shallow full length fuller, indistinctly marked to the ricasso .... 1888, with an unguarded wooden grip with brass mounts in a brown leather scabbard with brass mounts and single ring suspension. 100cm overall. *CR Generally in good condition with light scuffing and marking and small areas of light rust to blade.
A Rifle Officer's sword with an 81cm pointed and partially fullered blade with King's Crown above interlaced initials, and owners initials of 'P.H.K.', marked to the ricasso for Robert Mole, Birmingham, Makers to the War and India Offices, numbered M3008 to the back, with pierced guard decorated with a slung bugle, wire bound grip and domed pommel, in a plated scabbard with twin ring suspension. With a leather sword knot. 102cm. And a sword with a slightly curved 88cm sharpened and pointed blade with a primitive handle, 101cm. (2). *CR Blade nice, grip and scabbard showing signs of corrosion and light rust. Second in poor 'relic' condition.
With a slender pointed single edged, fullered 90cm blade marked with a broad government arrow and various issue and test marks including '15 and '18, indistinctly marked B&Nld. with a plastic pistol type grip and broad guard, stamped internally Q.O.H. for the Queen's Own Hussars. In polished steel scabbard with twin ring suspension, with various stamped marks to the side and top including a government arrow, EFD and '14. 112cm overall. *CR Repair to plastic grip, surfaces polished.
A 1st pattern Leader's type Reichsbahn (State Railway) dagger with a 26cm tapering, pointed blade marked for Alcosa, Solingen, the cross piece with eagle with wing's outstretched above a swastika, with a black bakelite handle, the pommel with leaf decoration, in scabbard with twin ring suspension. 39.5cm overall. *CR Good condition, blade with much original finish.
With a 73cm pointed, single edged blade , with washers and decorative pierced tsuba, the tang with four character signature. The fish skin grip bound with fabric binding and decorative sword mounts. With a leather covered service scabbard with floral decorated single ring suspension. 102cm overall. *CR Wear and some distress to leather cover, slight damage to grip, blade good. A nice example.
