dating: 19th Century provenance: Korea, Strong, slightly curved, single-and false-edged blade (some small dent on the edge) with a long, central fuller and shorter one on the back, both with traces of red coloring. The base plated with brass and copper ferrule. Flat, iron quillon, of octagonal shape, finely inlaid with silver spirals on both facets (some part of the inlay is missing). Iron ring-nut, with remains of silver-inlaid undulated lines. Grip with antique, light color, fish skin covering, metallic decorations and silk lacing (defects), provided with a hole. Iron cap with remains of silver-inlaid spiral and straight lines (some oxidation). Wooden scabbard covered with ray skin painted in brown (small damages and parts missing), featuring an inscription in red ideograms at the beginning on one side. Iron mounts with remains of silver-inlays (probably the cap is missing), two bands connected by a back strap provided with two loops. Complete with lacing and leather belt. With a suspension hilt inlaid en suite with the sabre. length 81,5 cm.

Silver ring-nut and grip's bands, decorated with floral motifs. Ivory grip scales with small ears. Nice, silver scabbard richly adorned in bass-relief, with various floral and rocaille decorations, trophies and effigies of a sail boat in the center on one side. Front part with silver-inlaid star and crescent repeated various times, other silver, partially pierced plates in the bottom part around the typical, spherical trigger. Completely silver-plated back around the barrel's tang. Walrus ivory muzzle. Butt side with silver, partially pierced mounts. Ramrod is missing. Two loops on the right side for suspension string. length 132 cm.

Wooden, full stock decorated with iron-inlays finely pierced and engraved with floral motifs and snakes, the counter-plate decorated en suite; iron mounts chiselled with floral motifs. Spare ramrod. A reparation under the barrel. length 55 cm.
