A late 17th century weight driven hooded wall clock: unsigned, the 8¼ in square brass dial with Roman chapter ring, brass mask spandrels; the iron framed, weight driven bell-strike movement with count wheel striking, in a later 1950s oak hooded wall case. (45.75 cm high) Probable alterations.
A walnut veneered and feather-banded eight-day longcase clock: the 12-inch brass dial behind a glazed door flanked by two columns, the silver chapter ring with Roman numerals and signed Jno. Austin - Wattford [sic] and cornered by ornately pierced spandrels with two cherubic-style figures holding aloft a crown in veneration of the 1660 Restoration of the Stuart monarchy; the textured centre dial with subsidiary seconds dial (hand missing) and ornately engraved date aperture above the 6 o'clock position; tall rectangular and feather banded trunk door with oval glass pendulum viewing aperture; the movement striking on a bell; crossbanded lower section; raised on plinth base, with weights and pendulum. (209.5 cm high)Condition: We're not sure if the case is contemporary with the movement. The clock was refurbished circa 1940. Although looks good together, newer wood has been put onto the platform so it sits correctly.
A late 18th century George III period mahogany, satinwood crossbanded and marquetry cellarette of oval form: the hinged lid with central oval boxwood marquetry of a conch shell and lifting to reveal four recessed bottle stands, the square escutcheon with traces of gilding above vertical splits and historic reparations, stop-fluted bands to the top and bottom, two gilded flowerhead and ring handles, raised on square tapering legs (57cm wide including handles x 39cm deep x 67.5cm high)

A 9ct yellow gold and peridot two stone cross over ring: Birmingham 1997, the two pear cut peridots over pierced shoulders, size O: together with a pair of 18ct yellow gold and peridot stud earrings, with 9.5mm trillion cut peridots and post backs for pierced ears, the butterflies 9ct gold. (3)
A Victorian 12ct gold, pink stone and seed pearl fede ring: hallmarked '12' and '.5', Birmingham, the two hands holding a seed pearl cluster centred by an oval cut pink stone, size O.Hallmarks a little rubbed but still legible. Old repair to one shoulder, with a gold plate soldered behind the hand to secure the cluster. One seed pearl replaced with MOP and some wear/tiny splits to cluster settings.
A 19th century Chinese Canton vase: the waisted neck with two applied dog of Fo head and ring handles above a battle scene in famille rouge enamels; incised four-character mark to underside of base. (34.5 cm high). (With H.W. Keil (Cheltenham) Ltd 1981 receipt for £185).The vase is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or other significant faults. No restoration. There is glaze crazing throughout, with slightly heavier crazing to one side of the neck just below the rim. There are a few burst glaze bubbles to the body and a patch of scratching to the glaze to the back leg on one of the horses.
A Continental 18-carat gold open-face key-wind fob watch: unsigned gilt lever movement fronted by a gilt Roman dial with dotted outer minute tracks and floral chased centre; in a floral and foliate chased case with vacant cartouche to case back (35 mm in diameter, approx. 31.94g including glass). (With key) Winds and runs. Dial good with a couple of tiny scratches to chapter ring. Case good, with tiny ding to cartouche to case back. The cuvette is rolled gold.
An 18-carat yellow-gold-cased full hunter pocket watch: white-enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed 'JNo. Jones - 338 Strand - London' and '15886'; the subsidiary seconds-hand at the 6 o'clock position and a similar sized dial between the 8 and 9 o'clock positions; the fully cased and protected gilded movement also signed and numbered as above; the movement with slow-fast hand (outer case diameter approx. 41mm, gross weight approx. 74.52g)Condition Report: The dial isn't perfect. At the middle between the 5 and 6 o'clock positions there is a small hairline running from the outer ring. There are two small vertical cracks surrounding the 6' o clock numeral and what looks like a small curved hairline coming away from the 10 o'clock position towards the centre ( approx. 3mm long). The watch has a key and appears to be overwound to the fullest position and the movement will require attention.
An 18-carat gold, emerald and diamond cluster ring.Ring size O. Setting in good condition overall, clear hallmarks. The emerald measures approx. 9.75 x 7.75mm. x 5.9mm. deep. The emerald has a couple of very light, small scratches to the table and a few tiny exposed cavity inclusions to the table. Two tiny chips to the crown and a few tiny exposed cavity inclusions to the crown at one end of the stone. One light fracture mark low down on the crown to one side of the stone from an inclusion beneath. Colour good but notably deeper to one end than the other. Diamonds total approx. 1ct.
Two sapphire and diamond-set rings: the first of tiered design, set with navette-shaped sapphires and diamond detail, the shank stamped '585', ring size N and a sapphire and diamond-set cluster ring, the shank with a 9-carat gold hallmark, ring size N (combined gross weight 12.4g)Condition; Condition generally good although it is noted that on the larger of the two rings one of the leaf-shaped sapphire stones is now missing. It is noted that on the other ring, in the auctioneer's opinion, the sapphires are not of very good quality.

A George III period oak-cased 30-hour longcase clock: the broken swan-neck pediment above a 12-inch brass and silvered dial flanked by fluted columns; the silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and circular date-hand above the 6 o'clock position, the dial signed 'Michl. Wilde - Wakefield' and flanked by pierced, gilt-metal spandrels; shaped trunk door; raised on short bracket feet; with pendulum and weight. (220 cm high). (With 1991 insurance document for £500 and dating the clock as circa 1800.)

Holler of Solingen.Orange grips with nickel plated fitting.Cross guard the German NSDAP symbol and eagle.Straight double edged blade with etched maker mark.Complete with associated scabbard, with usual pebbled finish and double ring hanger attachment.Additionally there is a bullion knot attached to the scabbard.Approximately 39cm length.Condition: Some fractures and loss to the handle.All over darkening and patination to the metal.The blade remains relatively bright.A few shallow dents to the scabbard, plus the bullion knot has some service wear.
A scarce Polish M1921 officers cavalry sword, by Gabriel Borowski.Brass cross guard, knuckle guard, and pommel, the latter secured with a brass screw.Black leather grip with brass wire binding.Polished steel blade marked ‘ G.Borowski Warszawa’ at the ricasso.The blade is single edged, and singled fullered to both sides, with a slight curve.Complete with black painted scabbard with 2 ring attachments.Approximately 95.5cm length including scabbard, blade length approximately 77cm.Condition: generally very good.Hilt, grips, and wire binding all in good condition.The black leather to the grip has gently worn and shows as lighter patches on the surface from handling.The wire binding has remnants of old metal polish ingrained in the grooves.The brass elements are all good, with normal service wear and light contact marks. There are some tiny areas of surface corrosion spotting to the brass, but these are not detrimental.Good finish to the blade, with minor corrosion area near the ricasso.The scabbard has a few light dents, and there is some minor paint loss, but is on the whole good.

WW2 Iron Cross 2nd Class.Usual 3 part construction, with magnetic iron core and silvered rim.Stamped with maker mark ‘44’ to suspension ring (Jokob Bengel).Complete later replacement ribbon.Condition: generally good.The beaded rim has has a slight bump to the 1813 side, resulting in a flattening of the pattern.The iron core is good, with only minimal paint loss.

A 20th century divers knife by Siebe Gorman & Co.Type 4 pattern, with ring turned and waisted wooden handle.Brass cross guard with steel blade, with the makers mark stamped to the blade.Complete with original brass scabbard, with drainage hole at the narrow end.The scabbard would of originally had a leather strap attached to the slot, but this is now absent.Length 33cm in scabbard, blade length 19.4cm.Condition: generally good.Wooden handle is free of damage and securely fixed.The brass scabbard is has dark patination and there are one or two very small spots of verdigris.The scabbard also has a small shallow dent near the flared part, but this isn’t detrimental.The steel blade has darkened in places and there are some minor surface rust patches near the tip of the blade on both sides.

WW1 German medal group.To include: an Iron Cross 2nd class, maker marked S-W to the suspension ring (Sy Wagner, Berlin), a Bavarian Merenti Cross of Military Merit, 3rd Class, and an original WW1 1915 dated Soldbuch for a soldier in the 3rd Infantry Regiment.Condition: generally good.The painted core to the Iron Cross is good and without corrosion, the Merenti Cross has a small amount of verdigris to the surface.The Soldbuch has heavy surface wear, but the details to the interior pages is clear.3 items.

A rare Soviet Russian Medal of Ushakov.First instituted in 1944 in the Soviet Union as an award for courage.It was authorised for wear, by eligible British veterans, by H.M. Queen Elizabeth II in 2013.Produced in silver with usual applied anchor motif to the reverse.Folded ribbon with draped chain attached to a aluminium frame.Pin back fitting to the reverse.Notes; numbered 14573 to the reverse side.Approximately 3.5cm width x 4.8cm height (including suspension ring).Condition: service wear to both obverse and reverse, with contact marks and minute surface scratches.The ribbon has appeared to have faded a little, and is a little frayed to one side.Some surface verdigris is present to the metal ribbon frame.
