Blue and white stone ring- there is a lot of abrasion to the white stones, the synthetic sapphire is bright, some nibbling to the crown, the shank has been resized The pink stone is bright, it has some polish marks to the stone, a small fracture to one side. A Hardy St. George fly reel with smoky grey agate ring and ivorine handle CONDITION REPORTS Much surface dirt and minor scratching conducive with age and use, particularly around the ivorine handle. Presumably ownership initials scratched above the Hardy Brothers Ltd stamp "YIH" crudely scratched in with various other minor scratch marks on the same side. The agate ring appears to be uncracked though there is a small scratch to one side - see images for further detail
An early 18th Century provincial oak hutch or coffer, the single plank top with zigzag carved and notched ends, over plain front and V cut side panels, 76 cm wide x 33 cm deep x 46 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Much wear and tear conducive with age and use throughout. Signs of old woodworm to the top in several areas. Replacement section to the top back right. Several areas of damage and loss to the front edge. Rear ring hinge broken but extant. Candle box to right interior formerly with lid on ring hinges, now not extant. End boards with some signs of old woodworm. See images for further detail.
