The bells are all present and strike ok if manually striking with the hammers, but the clock is not presently running/ set up. The clock was delivered by a third party laid down on one side, completely assembled (hood, pendulum, weights - all still "on"). One of the wire weight cables has snapped. There is no key. We have not been able to test if in complete working order. We are unable to access the back of the movement to check for a maker's mark.
Mid-century modern Meredew light oak bedroom suite, comprising a pair of bedside cupboards, 46x36cm, height 65cm, chest of drawers, 61x41cm, height 123cm, and dressing table with cheval mirror H142cm.Condition report:All pieces are quite noticeably bleached by sunlight. The top above the two drawers of the low dressing table has a large water stain on the front edge, central. Similar water marks to the tops of both the bedsides, and the tallboy has multiple ring marks and water splash marks. Some veneer loss to the drawer fronts of the tallboy. All drawers remain strong and slide well. The drawer pulls to all pieces are sturdy, as are the feet. The mirror has some speckling.
