A 19th century sycamore and ash milking stool, with a circular dished seat, on three circular ring turned legs, height 32.5cm, diameter of seat 30.5cm.There is nothing to suggest that the legs are not original. There is evidence of historic wood worm that is no longer active. There is a lovely patina to this stool, that has splits and chips that adds (as opposed to subtract) to the character of this stool.
