Ob. 22 Oct 1779 ae30' with sepia painting of a maiden with an urn under glazed panel, approx head size 18.1mm x 13.7mm finger size approx O together with a brooch with black enamel edge and painted sepia and hair art picture of an urn under a glazed panel, 17mm x 14.4mm, weight of both together 6.5gms Condition Report: The ring originally had black enamel to the band all but a few tiny bits of this left, panel and glazing all in good order. Brooch clasp, painting and glazing all good.

TWO DIAMOND SET MOURNING RINGS the first 18ct with black enamel, a pearl set flower interspaced with rose cut diamonds, baring the legend 'In Memory Of' and partial Victorian hallmarks, finger size Q, the second ring has a onyx flower set centrally with a old cut diamond of approx 0.20cts, with scrolled shoulders and floral engraving picked out in black enamel. Partial Victorian hallmarks as well and a locket back. Finger size approx N, weight for both 5.9gms Condition Report: diamond and pearl;- One pearl is chipped on clode inspection, quite a bit of the enamel is missing from the sides of the ring, the round area is also chipped but not full thickness with some abrasions from wear. locket back missing. diamond and onyx; some losses to the enamel down the sides, small hole to the top of the setting, locket glazed cover in place but it is cracked. .

Finger size P, weight 3.7gms Condition Report: Mount has a little wear to the bottom of the setting, from rubbing on another ring. some of the claws need attention, generally needs a clean. Middle diamond has an end on carbon / clear feather all other diamonds have either clear feathers, cleavage fracture type chips, overall nice and sparkly.

Finger size P1/2, weight 3.6gms Condition Report: Mount good with decent thickness to the shank. Claws ok. Diamonds clean and bright, opal has some abraisons to the top surface from wear one tiny chip to the under girdle, nice subtle colour play.

Finger size N, weight 6.5gms Condition Report: Sapphire a lovely hyacinth blue colour with some pale zoning and a crystal inclusion, rose cut diamonds offer a bit of sparkle, but they are quite dirty behind them need a good ultrasonic clean. Mount all good.

Finger size R, weight approx 4.2gms Condition Report: Clear feathertype inclusion towards one girdle and a patch opersite of clear crystals and feathers minute amount of carbon, slight rubbing to the bottom of the mount from rubbing on another ring, otherwise good, claws all sound.
