A Dent of London gravity clock, circa 1970, the timepiece with circular dial with Roman numerals to the chapter ring inscribed to the centre "Dent, London" and housed in a cylinder and inscribed to the reverse "Dent". The clock is wound by pushing up a slope and operates with the act of gravity rolling slowly back down the slope through the days of the week. Cylinder diameter 5 ins, length of slope 28.5 ins.
A late 19th century German bracket clock, in oak case, with two-train clockwork movement by Kienzle Uhren number 25043 striking on five gongs, the case with domed stepped pediment above a glazed door with bevelled glass enclosing the silvered brass dial and three-train movement, with Arabic numerals to the chapter ring, flanked by fluted and turned columns, with conforming base and raised on short turned feet. Width 12.5 ins.
A George III oak longcase clock, with moulded cornice above the glazed door enclosing the 11.5 inch square brass dial with silvered chapter ring and engraved to the centre "A. Donaldson, Wigton", with Roman numerals and date aperture, with cast brass spandrels and 30 hour movement, flanked by simple columns, with shaped trunk door and conforming base raised on bracket feet. Height 78 ins.
