Engraved and partially pierced iron mounts. Nice little ring-guard decorated with floral motifs. Iron-tipped wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractors. The butt plate can be opened with a button, carved and pierced iron barrel bracket. One of the rare signed shotgun of the Berselli / Lorenzoni system with an even rarer signature. Flintlock signed 'PAUL POULCE A SEDAN' (not entirely legible) under the spring, the plate with very fine carvings with a grotesque figure between floral motifs and a mask on the tang, all in bas-relief, the hammer decorated en suite and with screw carved as a lion's head. Wooden full stock, the base with antique breakage and a very fine restoration. Beautiful mounts carved and pierced with masks, grotesque figures and floral motifs. Horn-tipped, wooden ramrod.
