An einem Fuß trägt er einen Schuh. Die Pupillen aus schwarzem Horn.Die Darstellung spielt auf zwei legendäre Ereignisse im Leben des Daruma an. Die vom Wind erfassten Gewänder spielen auf die Überquerung des Yangzi an, während der einzelne Schuh, den er in der Hand hält, auf Darumas Rückkehr nach Indien verweist.
