A rare Edwardian Arts & Crafts silver sanctuary lamp of Middle Eastern influence, the hanger of coronet design over a central band of fleur de lys and crosses on six plain ring chain suspensions, the lantern holder with Gothic arch banded decoration over a bellied body flanked by scrolling grape and vine brackets with cruciform columns, each suspending a ring roundel with amethyst glass baubles in silver mounts, the base suspending a cruciform pendant composed of two transversally intersecting crosses (by Omar Ramsden and Alwyn Carr for Ramsden & Carr, London 1906), 105 cm high x 20 cm diameter approx, overall weight including glass baubles 89.9 oz CONDITION REPORTS The hanging loop and frame appear to have been added - not hall-marked. Amethyst beads have damage to the them variously and one of the bead holders is missing two "petals". Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include cleaning fluid residue, etc. Possibly had a glass liner - now not present. See images for more details.

An 18th Century oak cased long case clock, the eight day movement by Christopher Pinchbeck of London with brass arch dial and pierced gilt brass spandrels enclosing the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals enclosing a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture surmounted by a silvered medallion inscribed with maker's name, housed in an oak case with later Arts & Crafts style floral carved decoration (bears hand-written notes re. maker to interior of door on Allan Smith Antiques headed notepaper, dated 7 April 1991 to interior of door), 49 cm wide x 26 cm deep x 247 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Case in need of some tlc - especially the hood. There are various splits and repairs to the case. Signs of old worm especially to the hood. Glass present but not in place. Pendulum present but in pieces.
