Gerahmt: 108 x 68 cm.Paul Ohnsorge war Mitglied der Künstlergemeinschaft "Der Ring", die er 1951 zusammen mit Hannah Höch, Peter Fischer, Karl Rössing u.a. gründete. Seine Werke wurden zwischen 1951 und 1965 auf der Großen Kunstausstellung München sowie 1954 bei der bedeutsamen Ausstellung des Deutschen Künstlerbunds in Frankfurt am Main gezeigt. -1961 wurde ihm von Willy Brandt bei der Eröffnungsveranstaltung der Großen Berliner Kunstausstellung der Große Preis verliehen. - Das Bild stammt aus dem Nachlass des Künstlers. - Mit 3 kleineren restaurierten Einrissen, sonst gut erhalten.

Bildmaße: 50,5 x 95,5 cm.Homann, Werkverzeichnis 104. - Der schlesische Maler Paul Ohnsorge (1915-1975) lebte seit 1950 in Berlin, wo er 1951 zusammen mit Hannah Höch, Peter Fischer, Karl Rössing u.a. die Künstlergemeinschaft "Der Ring" gründete. Seine Werke wurden in der Folge ebenso auf der "Großen Kunstausstellung München", wie 1954 bei der Ausstellung des Deutschen Künstlerbunds in Frankfurt am Main oder 1958 auf der Ausstellung "aufbruch zur modernen kunst" zur 800Jahrfeier Münchens gezeigt. Seit 1952 realisierte er in Berlin auch Kunst am Bau in Form von Betonreliefs, Sgraffitos, Wandbildern und Stukkaturen. 1961 verlieh Willy Brandt ihm bei der Eröffnungsveranstaltung der "Großen Berliner Kunstausstellung" den "Großen Preis" für sein Lebenswerk. - Rahmen etwas verzogen, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
