A 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CASED APOTHECARY CABINETWith extensive fitted interior, 27cm wide; 31cm highCondition report: Various light marks, scuffs and wear commensurate with age, however, mahogany is overall in relatively good ‘untouched’ condition. Tarnishing/oxidisation to metal work: escutcheon and carrying handles. The lid is very slightly lifting to one side. No key and lock plate loose, requiring fixing back into position. Veneer section to the front edge loose and present with lot. The top hinged lid opens to reveal: Four glass bottles with gilt brass lids, one of which has completely tarnished and lost it’s gilding and wax sealed cork lining and now loose on the glass bottle. Lift out tray with slide lidded compartment to the sideGlazed ceramic tileSoftwood cased glass syringe (internal edge of case worn with loss)Metal cased candle holder - with candle, stamped to underside ‘PATENT APPLIED FOR’ A ceramic oval shaped bowl on raised foot.Front door opening and closing only when lid open to reveal: Seven compartments, six bottles with glass stoppers, various chips and wear. Labelled drawers (one missing ring pull handle top right), including the top tier containing sliding lid compartments, the second row enclosing a glass mixing bowl but no pestle; four glass vials with contents, three of which with marble paper covered stoppers and three various wood containers, the bottom row enclosing eight apertures with six glass mixing bowls.The reverse door opening and closing when lid is open to reveal: Eight compartments with only seven glass bottles with stoppers present. A CHARLES II JOINED OAK ENCLOSED CHEST OF DRAWERSCirca 1670, with raised geometric moulding, 105cm wide; 103cm highCondition report: Good overall condition considering age and use. Construction typical of the period and composed in two sections. Some inevitable wear, marks and scuffs in areas overall and to notable to the top, also with light shrinkage to timber. Further shrinkage to the timbers below and more evident to the panelled doors, including the left side door. Repair required to splits / tears to right side of the two internal drawers. Further shrinkage crack along the left bottom edge of the top drawer. Wear / oxidization to the ring pull metal handles. Five elements of moulding are loose and present. Plugged marks from previous handles. Left side hinge a more obvious replacement. Lock plate but no key. A few old worm holes apparent to the bottom boards. Feet probably good replacements and stylistically consistent, some small wear.
A REGENCY MAHOGANY BOWFRONT CHESTWith two short over three drawers, 105cm wide; 105cm highCondition report: Third drawer down a little stiff. Later handles and one missing it’s ring pull. Various scuffs and scratches, some shrinkage cracks to veneers. Some repairs to veneers in areas, notably veneer replacements to the sides of the splayed feet. Other small dents and marks commensurate with use and age.
A MID-18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CHESTWith brushing slide over five various drawers, 81cm wide; 50.5cm deep; 84cm highCondition report: 50.5cm deep. Requires some restoration, notably to the top which has been damaged to the back right corner. The top is also partially sun faded across the back half. At some point the chest has been polished and restored. However, now there are spots of water damage to the front, notably the third drawer down. Other scuffs, dents, scratches and marks overall commensurate with use and age, including a ring mark to the top front corner, scratches and a dark mark to the right side.Some shrinkage to veneers as to be expected and to the oak drawer linings. The drawers run pretty well considering age, they are quite worn on the runners. Marks, scratches and dents to the slide, but the mahogany is a good colour.

A GOLD, OPAL AND DIAMOND RINGMounted with a row of oval opals graduating in size to the centre stone and with pairs of diamond points at intervals (one diamond point lacking), the mount decorated with scroll pierced sides, detailed 18 CT, ring size M, gross weight 4.5 gmsCondition Report: The second opal in has a chip on the edge. The others have slight surface wear and scratching. One rose diamond point missing. Second opal in on other side is quite chipped around the edge. One of the end opals is also chipped. Some opals may have been replaced in the past. All opals have slight wear. Length of centre opal is 8mm (including claws). The claws have been retipped in the past - from the side you can see they have been built up.

Looks to be failry clear stone, attarctive white stone. The ring itself is quite dirty and would benefit from professional cleaning. The mount is slightly worn on either side.
A PLATINUM, RUBY AND DIAMOND CLUSTER RINGClaw set with the circular cut ruby in a surround of ten circular cut diamonds, detailed PLA, ring size OCondition Report: The ruby has one or two internal inclusions. There are two or three surface nicks where facet edges meet. The surrounding diamonds generally have a few internal inclusions. Some of the claws to the outer edge have been retipped in the past, currently securing the gemstones. The 'T' of 'PLAT' has been filled in as a result of ring sizing in the past. The ring would benefit from professional cleaning. Suggested age is somewhere between 1960 and 1990. Ruby diameter including claws 7.9mm, depth is approximatley 2.6mm. Fairly even in colour with a few inclusions. The diamonds also have a few inclusions. Gross weight of ring: 3.4gms

The mount and clasp are in good condition. It also closes properly. There is a tiny mark to the suspension ring (difficult to photograph due to its small size.) There are tow tiny marks one one side of the snap clasp which look like male heads struck twice (also difficult to photograph)

A DIAMOND SET THREE STONE RINGClaw set with the principal cushion shaped diamond at the centre between two smaller cushion shaped diamonds, ring size M, gross weight 2.7 gmsSome variation of cut and size of diamonds, one of the side diamonds has an internal inclusion that breaks the surface at the girdle beside one claw. The other side diamond has an edge nick between two claws and also has surface reaching inclusion by the edge. Some wear to the sides of the mount. Diameter of principle diamond 7mm, diameter of each side diamond 5.5mm. The ring is currently rather dirty and would benefit from careful professional cleaning. The principle diamond looks to be a clear stone and undamaged. The principle diamond very slightly draws colour but does not appear to be cloudy. The mount is rather worn to the sides, particularly to the centre diamond. The centre diamond is also a bit pushed down in its setting and requires adjustment so that the claws properly close down and securely to the surface of the diamond. Diameter of centre diamond 7.2mm and depth of centre diamond 5.2mm
