A steel barrelled flintlock blunderbuss pistol, by William Jover, c 1785, 14½” overall, 2 stage swamped barrel 9” with beaded baluster ring, the flat topped breech engraved “Jover, London” and with London and maker’s proofs; the flat stepped lock signed “Jover” in script; plain walnut fullstock with bulbous butt, the steel mounts include domed butt cap and flower engraved trigger guard with acorn finial. A P1858 cutlass bayonet for the Enfield rifle, very slightly curved, flat, SE blade 26½”, marked “A&E H” (A & E Holler, London) at forte, sheet steel semi basket guard with muzzle ring, spring catch to pommel, chequered composition grips. Basically GC (blade worn and pitted, hilt pitted).
D marked Zentra wristwatch. Serial D601538. All plating removed from case, 33mm without crown. Fixed bars. Screw caseback, marked rosterfreier, stahlboden, edelstahl internally. Dial in good condition, light spotting, luminous material on numerals and hands appears original. AS 1130 movement marked as Zentra 344, shock protected balance, running condition. Helbros signed Helvetia 820 movement, shock protected balance, marked 17 jewels and HXW on balance bridge (US import code). Clean, running condition, movement retaining ring present. VGC

A late 19th century US officer’s dress sword, slender shallow diamond section blade 32”, ornamental gilt hilt with double shell guard, the turn down inner portion plain, the outer portion embossed with eagle in wreath on trophy of flags, panelled crossguard with lion’s head stud, knucklebow and pommel, slightly swollen wirebound fishskin grip, in its plated scabbard (slight spotting overall) with single ring. Blade and hilt near VGC. Plate 10
Third Reich Naval insignia: gilt metal arm badges for Aircraft Spotter and Ordnance Artificer petty officer; 2 and 3 gold rank chevrons; and an oval pin back badge with anchor and initials “JDK”; also a cake fork with Marine eagle stamp, a ring with U boat badge; 2 post war Naval combat clasps, an Arbeitsbuch (some swastikas obliterated), and a large gold wire embroidered WW1 prize marksman’s arm badge, dated 1914. A late 18th century naval dirk, sharply curved blade 9”, brass hilt with “S” shaped crossguard and diamond panelled langets, upward facing lion’s head pommel and backstrap, ring to pommel, shallow facetted ivory grip (cracked and chipped), in its brass sheath with 2 rings, engraved with scrolled panels, foliate on the outer side, plain on the inner. Basically GC for age (some wear and dents).
Glycine pocket watch of type issued to Wehrmacht. Plated case, screw back with three tool indents, good condition, 50mm diameter. Inside caseback marked 124. Dial in good condition, luminous material on dial and hands appears original. Movement signed Glycine on ratchet wheel, with F283 on main plate, running condition. Movement retaining ring present. A late 18th century Percy Tenantry infantry officer’s sword, slightly curved, fullered blade 28”, with narrow back fuller to central section, etched on both sides with devices (unclear) and foliage, copper gilt stirrup hilt with crossguard and quillon, sideloop, knucklebow, with ring at the top, into octagonal section domed pommel, crosshatched ebony grip with line engraved middle band and oval panel with Percy Tenantry crescent in crowned title strap. GC the hilt retaining approx 60% gilt (dark patina, wear and some pitting to blade, hilt mis-shapen) Plate 10
DH marked Helvetia wristwatch. Serial D6594H. Plated case with brushed finish, heavy wear to plating, 33mm not including crown. Fixed bars. Screw caseback marked with serial, “Stahlboden, Wasserdicht” and 3190. Black dial is discoloured. Luminous material stripped from hands and dial markers, hands have a white painted finish. Movement is marked Helvetia 82A on ratchet wheel, in running condition. Original movement retaining ring present. QGC
