Andre Naftel a Guernesey` along the top of the arch, with Roman chapter ring, arabic outer minutes, subsidiary seconds dial at noon, date aperture at six, pierced steel foliate hands, gilt metal foliate scroll spandrels, the eight day, twin train bell strike movement with four turned pillars, complete with the original lead Nicolas Blondel weights marked `NBD`, in the original plain dark stained oak case, the hood with flared stepped pediment on turned pilasters and arched side glasses, the trunk with moulded broken arch door, on a plain plinth base, 79¾in. (202.5cm.) high.
A George II walnut eight day longcase clock 18th century, by William Wright of London, the brass arched dial with matted centre, signed to the Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial at noon, date aperture at six, gilt cherub mask spandrels, penny moonphase to arch with Roman silvered dial within gilt dolphin spandrels, all within engraved borders, the bell strike movement with five turned pillars, the case with flared moulded pediment on turned pilasters to the hood, the trunk with cross banded and fielded panelled door, the base with later bracket plinth, 90½in. (230cm.) high, alterations.
A good early 19th century eight day inlaid mahogany longcase clock the twin train, four turned pillar, bell strike movement signed `FRANCIS` to the front plate, the arched brass dial with foliate engraved centre with engraved subsidiary seconds dial at noon and arched date aperture at six, signed `Webb & Son, Frome`, silvered Roman chapter ring with Arabic outer minutes, pierced black steel hands, gilt brass mask spandrels, painted moonphase to arch, in a good inlaid mahogany case, the hood with three eagle and ball brass finials over a cross banded and satinwood inlaid arched frieze on fluted pillars headed by gilt brass capitals, the trunk with canted corners, tulipwood banding and ebony stringing, the door centred with an inlaid oval, the base with conforming inlaid roundel, raised on slender bracket feet, 97in. (247cm.) high.
A George IV inverted breakfronted sideboard the moulded top with ebonised edge over a concave long panelled drawer and recessed deep kneehole below, flanked by a breakfront frieze drawer either side, one over a cupboard door, the other over a cellarette drawer, all with brass lion mask ring handles, raised on six turned tapered supports, 79in. (200.5cm.) wide, 38¼in. (97cm.) high, 25¼in. (64cm.) deep.
