A gold lapis lazuli ring, attributed to Clare Murray,with a cabochon lapis lazuli cage set to a pierced gold collet. With a boat, water and fish to the top, and fish to the underside, with a flat section 'U' shaped shank with a stamped fish to the inside. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. 7.89gProvenance: The Peter and Pat Crofts CollectionCondition report: Due to the 'U' shaped nature of the shank it is not possible to measure the finger size on a wheatsheaf stick.Minor surface marks/scratches to mount.Solder joins visible around the pierced plaque to the underside of the head.The head of the ring is flat on the underside, so does not sit correctly on a ring stick. We estimate the size to be V approximately. This could be sized down.

An enamelled basket above, with sprays and garlands of flowers and leaves, grain set with foiled emeralds, rubies and rose cut diamonds, with a smaller spray below. An octagonal step cut peridot, milligrain set at the centre, with an articulated pear cut peridot drop, suspended below. Lines of graduated split pearls milligrain and grain set, with circular mixed cut pink tourmalines, milligrain set to blade edge bars, with a brooch pin and concealed bale. A bead border to a twisted wire outer edge, with a later chased, tapered shank, depicting snakes amongst grape vines.
