German Third Reich SS 1933 model dagger by Gottlieb Hammesfahr of Solingen. A good example, the blade etched “Meine Ehre heist Treue” (My Honour is Loyalty), the reverse with maker’s pyramid logo. Black wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and enamelled circular SS device; the nickel crossguard impressed with district stamp III. Housed in original black anodised nickel mounted scabbard with single loose suspension ring. Minor service wear, small dent to scabbard otherwise VGC
39th Foot (Dorsetshire) 1843 Gwalior Star “Maharajpoor”. Reverse engraved “Private Thomas Branson H M 39th Regt” The reverse with contemporary loop and ring mount. The 39th Regiment under the command of Thomas Wright CB landed in India in 1839. At the Battle of Maharajpoor Wright commanded a Brigade and had his horse shot from under him.
Badge. Scottish. 92nd (Highland) Regiment Georgian Officer’s dirk belt plate circa 1823-30. A very fine and rare silver plate example. Horizontal oval with applied mounts comprising, floreated scrolls top and bottom “Peninsula” and “Waterloo”, in between, the Sphinx on Egypt tablet over milled numerals “XCII” couched within thistle sprays. The reverse with two applied “D” ring style fasteners. VGC

Brown wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and enamelled circular SA device. Crossguard stamped with “Ns” (SA Group Niedersachsen). Housed in original dark brown anodised scabbard with nickel plated mounts, the top one missing a throat screw, with single loose suspension ring. Minor service wear GC. SA (Sturmabteilung) “Brown Shirts” dagger introduced in 1933.

11th Prince Albert’s Own Hussars Victorian Officer’s Busby. A fine example of the last pattern by Cater & Co, 56 Pall Mall, London. Brown fur, with triple gold purl cords and gimp boss. Crimson bag with regimental style trimming of narrow gold French braid, forming a circle of eyes around the gold gimp button. . The plume is of white ostrich over crimson vulture feathers, with silvered ring and corded socket, Fine gilt corded chinchain with black velvet lining (stitching faults). The busby is complete with a black japanned busby tin and calico bag and a separate plume tin case. Service wear and minor age fur loss ... Complemented with a set of regimental pattern gold cap-lines with acorn finials and four woven sliders. A plaited section between the neck and finials. VGC
