Melbaware for H. A. Wain & Sons Ltd. - Two vintage 20th century pottery ceramic point of sale advertising butcher shop display bull animal figurines. Each in a standing position with textured 'wool' body, one with metal ring through nose. Each unmarked. Each measures approx. 25cm x 39cm x 15cm.
An impressive large diamond ring, set with one old brilliant cut diamond with an approximate carat weight of 5.50 carats. Also set in the shoulders with six baguette cut diamonds with a combined carat weight of approximately 0.82ct. Having a plain shank judged to be platinum with a filigree head and a double claw rub over setting. Unhallmarked, weight 5.50g. Finger size M. Purchased by the owners family in London in the 1960's.A recent independent valuation for insurance has indicated the diamond size at 11.91-11.95 x 6.28mm with a calculated carat weight of 5.65ct, colour J, clarity I2. Please note this is not a formal certified assessment and must be treated only as a judgement approximate assessment as the diamond has not been removed from setting.
