The pullies have been re-strung. Small dent below bottom of chapter ring. Pitting to brass frame above bell. No key present. The bracket added later. No pendulum present.

The veneer lifting and cracked in areas on the top with a few ring marks, some further splits to the wood on the lower tiers. The leather on the lower tiers also lifting on the edges, and is slightly bumpy. The bottom tier with a split to the front - please see additional images for reference.

It is likely to be late 19th century. There is some small areas of loss and wear to the gilding. Some very small loss of patination to the figure's fingers. Some wear to the dial siagnatures and numerals. Additional photos uploaded.The movement appears complete, it is running and chimes on the hour and half hour but currently out of sequence. We cannot guarantee operational use and would recommend it is seen by a professional clock restorer. With key and pendulum.

Small patches of old woodworm to the cabinet, with more to the base, none of which appears active. Replacement panel to the left apron. Metal hinges possibly replacements but show age.
