WILLIAM COMYNS; an Edwardian hallmarked silver and inlaid tortoiseshell heart shaped trinket box, the hinged lid decorated with swags and harps enclosing a velvet lined interior, with twin ring apertures above a vacant shield shaped area, overall raised on four leaf decorated scrolling feet, London 1906, length 8.5cm, width 8cm, height 4.5cm, approx 8g.Additional InformationTortoiseshell good condition as is the inlay to the top, the lid is very slightly sprung when closed, both lid and base are hallmarked, tarnishing and toning throughout with very minor surface scratches and dents. The leather base of the box is not quite 100% fitting to the surround and very slight misshaping to the feet. The interior velvet requires re-gluing at the tip point of the harp. Overall in good order.

It could be resized, this would not be straightforward because of the thickness of the band. It is engraved Chopard to the glass, it has French marks.
