Pair of late Victorian rosewood open arm elbow chairs having carved moulded shaped backs with padded and shaped arms, standing on tapering ring turned legs. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Chairs are structurally sound with very little sideways movement. Appearing to be slightly faded in places with general wear and tear commensurate with age.

An extensive collection of boxing related ephemera by local collector Ron Morgans from Kidwelly who started collecting at 17 years of age and continued to expand his collection well into his 70's. Ron was a talented cartoonist and in the 60's created and illustrated the character of 'Ring Sport Champ' which featured in Ring Sport Magazine. Collection includes; various signed photographs, postcards, facsimiles and autographs; vintage and modern to include: Norman Wisdom, Alex Ireland, Barry Mcguigan, Harry Crossley, Harry Corbett, Pat Mccormack, Steve Robinson, Frank Bruno, Billy Hardy, John Conteh and many others, approx 12 albums, together with cigarette cards, programmes etc. (B.P. 21% + VAT)12 albums containing photographs, autographed photographs, programmes, swap cards, newspaper cuttings, postcards, tickets, letters, cigarette cards and facsimiles. 18ct gold half Hunter gentleman's pocket watch with enamel face having Roman numerals and seconds dial and a 9ct gold fancy bar link chain with T bar and bloodstone fob. Total weight 139g approx. Overall 50mm diameter. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Suspension ring is gold plated. Face has hair crack. Winds and ticks. some dents to case rim. Case, bar links and T bar all hallmarked. No inscription. 95g without chain approx, weight of chain with seal 44g approx.
18th Century walnut cased 8 day longcase clock marked John Culliford, Bristol, having flat hood with projecting cornice above pierced foliate frieze, square aperture flanked by turned columns, the waist with moulded long waist door having circular glass window on a reduced panel base. Brass face with gilded spandrels, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. The face 12" square approx. 8 day two train movement, striking on one bell. 205cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall in good condition commensurate with age. Minor wear and tear and losses but decent overall. The base has been reduced with a later skirt applied. Includes; two weights, winder and pendulum. Length of door 103 cm Approx.
18th Century Welsh mahogany 8 day longcase clock marked Thomas Williams, Haverfordwest, having flat hood with moulded cornice above 8 arch aperture flanked by turned columns, the waist with satinwood strung arched long drawer on a panelled base. Arched brass dial with foliate spandrels, Roman chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall good condition commensurate with age, the base appears to have a later skirt added to it. Face has been polished out, the chapter ring was probably originally silvered. Some lifting to veneers particularly on the hood. The sides of the carcass appear to have been stained or painted. Includes pendulum and two weights.
