Charles Frodsham, Clockmaker to the Queen, 8 day fusee movement library clock in hardwood case with bevelled glass windows all round. Lockable door opening to a silvered dial with engraved scrollwork spandrels surround a graduated chapter ring with Roman numerals, winding hole above the VI, signed 'Chas Frodsham Clockmaker to the Queen' and '84 Strand and 115 New Bond St No.2000'. Lockable door to back opening to a brass single train chain fusee movement engraved in a similar manner to that on the dial. Adjustable brass and steel pendulum with fixing bolt to secure pendulum during transit. Plaque attached to inside of door for 'Meyrick Neison of Tetbury Gloucestershire'. With winding key and keys to doors. H 24.9cm, W 8.1cm, D 15.2cm.

A silver desk set, comprising a desk blotter 1986, pen stand 1984, two pens 1985, letter opener 1986, note pad holder 1981 and a key ring 1988, all London, Makers mark for Richard Lawrence Geere, weighable silver approx. 387 grams.( 7) Provenance : Geere Family Note : Richard Geere born in 1932, and following in the footsteps of his father Charles Edward Geere who was also a Goldsmith and Silversmith, Richard Lawrence Geere was apprenticed to Ramsden and Roed and attended day release classes at the Central School of Arts and Crafts.After working for Asprey and Stuart Devlin he set up his own workshop where he undertook various private commissions and made his own range of silverware much in the style of Stuart Devlin for whom he was a maker. He continued to supply Asprey with bespoke items and photo frames from his own workshop.
